Adam Kolarek RP | LAA
Rays' Adam Kolarek: Shipped to minors
Kolarek was optioned to Triple-A Durham following Monday's tilt against the Yankees.
Kolarek will head to the minor leagues to make room for Yonny Chirinos on the 25-man roster. Kolarek has made six appearances out of the bullpen for the Rays in 2018, posting a disastrous 9.72 ERA and 1.92 WHIP with two strikeouts over 8.1 innings.

Jaime Barria RP | CLE
Angels' Jaime Barria: Officially recalled from minors
Barria was called up from High-A Inland Empire ahead of Monday's start against the White Sox.
Barria is set to make his 14th start of the year for Los Angeles during Monday's series opener. Across 66 innings, he's logged a 3.55 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 7.1 K/9.

Chih-Wei Hu RP | TB
Rays' Chih-Wei Hu: Called up from Durham
Hu was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Monday, Marc Topkin of The Tampa Bay Times reports.
In a corresponding move, the Rays placed Blake Snell (shoulder) on the disabled list. There's a chance Hu will take Snell's place in the rotation for Tuesday's start against the Yankees, but that should be determined in the coming hours. Across two long-relief appearances with the club this year, Hu has logged a 5.87 ERA and 0.78 WHIP in 7.2 innings. He recently allowed five earned runs off eight hits during a four-inning start with Durham last Tuesday.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
Mariners' Alex Colome: Unblemished ERA in July
Colome earned his 16th hold with a scoreless eighth inning in which he allowed a hit and recorded two strikeouts during a win over the White Sox on Sunday. He has a perfect ERA across 6.2 innings over seven appearances in July.
The early portion of Colome's tenure in Seattle was rocky to say the least, as he generated a 6.75 ERA over 10.2 innings in June, his first full month in a Mariners uniform. However, he's hit his stride as a setup man in the current month, and he's actually put together eight consecutive scoreless appearances dating back to his final June outing. Colome has whittled his ERA back down to 3.95 after it hit 4.86 as recently as June 27, and despite the hit his fantasy value took when he lost his closer's role in the trade from the Rays, he's partly made up for it by racking up holds at a healthy clip.

J.B. Bukauskas RP | MIL
Astros' J.B. Bukauskas: Reinstated from DL
Bukauskas was reinstated from the 7-day disabled list at Low-A Quad Cities and started Saturday in the affiliate's 4-0 win over West Michigan, tossing five scoreless innings and striking out seven.
Prior to his activation, Bukauskas made one start in the Gulf Coast League and another three in the New York-Penn League. The 21-year-old, who was a first-round selection in the 2017 first-year player draft, will likely have his pitch counts monitored carefully in his first few outings back from the injury, which had kept him on the shelf for nearly three months.

Chris Rowley RP | TOR
Rangers' Chris Rowley: Claimed by Texas
Rowley was claimed off waivers by the Rangers on Monday and optioned to Triple-A Round Rock.
Rowley has thrown 19.1 career major-league innings with an ERA of 7.91. He's spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Buffalo, where he had a solid 3.30 ERA in 17 starts. His underlying numbers don't back up that ERA, though, as his 14.5 percent strikeout rate and 9.6 percent walk rate are each poor, leading to a 4.89 FIP.

Luis Santos RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Luis Santos: Starting Monday in bullpen game
Santos will make his first MLB start Monday against the Twins in what amounts to a "bullpen day" for the Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays were hopeful that Marco Estrada (hip) would be ready to come off the 10-day disabled list Monday to fill the vacancy in the team's rotation, but he'll instead make a minor-league rehab start before rejoining the big club over the weekend. As a result, the Blue Jays are expected to lean on a number of relievers to cover the series opener, with Santos likely to handle one of the heftier workloads. He has maxed out at 51 pitches and two innings in his five appearances with the big club this season, so that level of usage probably represents a good baseline of what to expect from him Monday.

Reynaldo Lopez RP | ATL
White Sox's Reynaldo Lopez: Early runs hurt Sunday
Lopez (4-8) allowed five runs on five hits and four walks while striking out one over five innings in Sunday's 8-2 loss to the Mariners.
The Mariners scratched up Lopez for five first-inning runs, using two walks, two infield hits and a sacrifice fly to plate two runs before Ryon Healy's three-run home run effectively sealed the fate of the light-hitting White Sox. Lopez has pitched like the staff ace many times this season, but a pitcher courts disaster when he walks nearly four batters per nine innings (3.9). Lopez has a 6.03 ERA and 1.63 WHIP over his last six starts, increasing his season ERA to 4.13. He'll look for a better result when he next takes the bump Friday at home against the Blue Jays.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Allows two runs in no-decision
Manaea took the no-decision Sunday, yielding two runs on four hits while striking out five across 6.2 innings in the 6-5 win over the Giants.
Overall, it was a pretty strong outing for Manaea and his first start without allowing a home run or walk since June 22. Coincidentally, June 22 was also the last time he struck out at least five batters. The 26-year-old southpaw will carry a 3.38 ERA and 88:24 K:BB into his next start in Colorado on Friday.

Jaime Barria RP | CLE
Angels' Jaime Barria: Slated for Monday's start
Barria will be formally recalled from High-A Inland Empire on Monday and start the Angels' series opener against the White Sox, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic Los Angeles reports.
Barria was optioned to Inland Empire following his final start before the All-Star break July 11, but that was strictly for the purpose of providing the team with more roster flexibility until his next turn in the rotation came up. A deluge of injuries to the Angels pitching staff this season has created the opportunity for Barria to solidify a rotation spot, and he's done just that. Over 13 starts, the rookie has posted a 3.55 ERA and 1.21 WHIP across 66 innings.
