Washington optioned Beeter to Triple-A Rochester after acquiring him in a trade with the Yankees on Saturday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Though the Nationals have a roster spot available after utility player Amed Rosario was moved to the Yankees on Saturday in the trade for Beeter and outfield prospect Browm Martinez, the right-hander is going to begin his tenure with Washington in the minors. Infielder Jose Tena is expected to be called up to fill Rosario's roster spot, per Andrew Golden of The Washington Post.

Phillips earned the save in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Brewers, allowing one run on three hits and no walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

Phillips took over for Janson Junk in the sixth inning and finished the game, earning his first career save in the process. It was the 27-year-old's longest outing of the season, and his resume now interestingly includes both a save and complete-game shutout, the latter of which he recorded with the Phillies last year. He's been steady in relief for the Marlins this season, posting a 3.38 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 34:15 K:BB across 53.1 innings.

Beeter was traded along with outfield prospect Browm Martinez from the Yankees to the Nationals on Saturday in exchange for Amed Rosario, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.

Beeter got into just two games with the Yankees this season, allowing six earned runs on five hits with a 1:4 K:BB over 3.2 innings. He was better with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, posting a 3.54 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 33:16 K:BB over 20.1 frames spanning 18 appearances. Beeter has worked exclusively in relief this season, but he was primarily a starter prior to this year. It's not yet clear if Washington intends to keep him in the bullpen or transition him back to a starting role.

Agnos was removed from Saturday's matchup versus Baltimore with an apparent right arm injury, Christian Saez of TheDNVR.com reports.

After throwing a pitch in the seventh inning, Agnos began shaking his right arm and motioned to the dugout. He was quickly pulled from the contest after having thrown 24 pitches, 13 of which were balls, and giving up four runs on two hits and two walks while retiring just one batter. It's been a rough campaign for Agnos, as he's posted a 6.98 ERA with a 17:16 K:BB over 29.2 frames for Colorado.

Bednar earned the save in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Diamondbacks, striking out two in a perfect ninth inning.

Bednar was called upon to protect a two-run lead in the ninth and needed just 13 pitches to convert his 16th straight save. In addition to his flawless saves streak, the 30-year-old has now gone 22 straight appearances without allowing an earned run. He owns a 2.19 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 51:10 K:BB across 37 innings this season and continues to boost his trade value ahead of next week's deadline.

Kansas City traded Hoffmann to the Diamondbacks in exchange for Randal Grichuk on Saturday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Hoffmann got into three major-league games with KC this season, posting a 3.86 ERA, 2.36 WHIP and 5:4 K:BB over 4.2 innings. He logged 15 starts over 29 appearances in the minors in 2024 but has been a full-time reliever this year, recording a 2.25 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 55:10 K:BB over 40 frames spanning 32 appearances with Triple-A Omaha. Per Aaron Hughes of SI.com, Hoffmann will begin his Diamondbacks tenure with Triple-A Reno.

Robert allowed two runs on one hit and one walk in one inning of relief during Saturday's 9-4 win over the Yankees. He struck out one.

Saturday ended Robert's scoreless streak of eight outings, but it at least came with the Phillies holding a 9-1 lead in the seventh frame. The 30-year-old right-hander should continue to work in low-leverage situations in Philadelphia's bullpen, but he does own a respectable 2.35 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB over his last 7.2 innings since being recalled from the minor leagues.

The Reds optioned Mey to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.

Mey was called up Friday after fellow reliever Scott Barlow was placed on the paternity list, but with Barlow back with the club Saturday, Mey is heading back to Louisville. The righty didn't get into Friday's contest but has a good chance of being back with the big club at some point later this season if a spot in the bullpen opens up.

Cincinnati activated Barlow from the paternity list Saturday.

The Diamondbacks recalled Garcia from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.

Just two days after being traded from Seattle to Arizona, Garcia will join the big-league bullpen to replace Trevor Richards, who was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Garcia has turned in a 3.51 ERA and 1.38 WHIP through 33.1 innings between Double-A and Triple-A this season, and he's given up one run over two innings so far in his MLB career.
