Wilson was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a left hamstring strain, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

The righty will miss at least one start and could be out for the remainder of the season while his hamstring returns to full health. Wilson has posted a 4.91 ERA and 23:10 K:BB in 40.1 innings across eight starts since joining Pittsburgh at the deadline. Max Kranick was recalled to fill Wilson's roster spot and start Sunday's game.

Effross (2-1) was tagged with the loss Saturday against Milwaukee after allowing two runs on three hits across two-thirds of an inning, fanning one.

Effross was coming off two straight scoreless appearances but didn't have his best stuff in this one, giving up a solo shot to Manny Pina and an RBI single to Kolten Wong, and he was unable to keep the Cubs in the game down the stretch. This was his worst outing of the year, but he has been decent since getting promoted to the big-league roster, posting a 3.86 ERA with a 13:2 K:BB through 9.1 innings across eight appearances.

Hader struck out two to record the save Saturday against the Cubs, allowing one hit and walking one.

Hader has been one of the best relievers in the National League this season and hasn't blown a save opportunity since July 7. Plus, he's yet to allow a run since the beginning of August and has tossed 16 straight scoreless outings. The left-hander has gone 33-for-34 in save chances while posting a career-best 1.34 ERA in 2021.

Williams fired a scoreless eighth inning and picked up his eighth win of the season Saturday against the Cubs.

Williams issued his fifth walk in five appearances Saturday, but he also struck out the side for the ninth time this season and wound up with the win when Manny Pina hit a go-ahead homer in the home half of the eighth. Williams was tagged for four earned runs by the Giants in his first September outing, but those are the only runs he has allowed in 26 appearances since June 23.

Gallegos fired a perfect ninth inning while striking one to earn the save in the win over the Padres on Saturday.

Gallegos entered the ninth inning with a one-run lead. He retired the side in order to pick up his ninth save of the season, a big performance where the Cardinals created even more room from the Padres in a multi-team race for the second wild-card spot. It was a solid outing after he blew a save in his previous appearance against the Mets. The 29-year-old has a 3.31 ERA and 0.86 WHIP with 86 strikeouts in 73.1 innings this season.

Garcia allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to earn a hold in Saturday's 2-0 win over Atlanta.

Garcia hit a rough patch recently, allowing four runs (two earned) in his last four innings, but he was able to get back on track Saturday in a close game. The southpaw has been an effective and versatile reliever with a 2.40 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 65:18 K:BB across 63.2 innings this season. He's added a 6-3 record, one save and eight holds, although his ability to work multiple innings has mostly kept him out of the closer conversation.

Pagan (4-2) allowed three earned runs on two hits and a walk across one inning, taking the loss to the Cardinals on Saturday.

Pagan entered the eighth inning with a 2-0 lead. The lead quickly evaporated when he surrendered a double, a walk and a home run. The Cardinals took over with a 3-2 lead and never looked back. It was the fifth long ball Pagan allowed in his last seven innings. He has a 4.50 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 67 punchouts over 60 innings this season.

Leone earned the save in Saturday's 2-0 triumph over Atlanta, allowing one hit in the ninth inning.

With closer Jake McGee on the IL, manager Gabe Kapler turned to Leone to lock down San Francisco's 97th victory. Look for the 29-year-old to remain a key piece in the Giants' pen with a 1.80 ERA in September and a 1.72 mark for the year.

Littell (4-0) got the win in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Atlanta, surrendering two hits with three strikeouts in one inning.

Littell relieved starter Alex Wood in the fourth inning and allowed the first two batters to reach base before striking out the next three Atlanta hitters. The victory was Littell's third in September and he's allowed two runs in eight innings this month across eight appearances.

Wilson (3-7) dealt with hamstring cramps during Saturday's start against the Marlins and left after five innings, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports. He picked up the win after allowing two runs on four hits with three strikeouts and a walk.

Wilson apparently felt the cramping on every pitch during the fifth frame, which is when Miami tallied both its runs off him via a two-run homer from Nick Fortes. The right-hander pitched well even with the injury, as he threw 48 of his 68 pitches for strikes. Wilson downplayed the issue after the contest, so he may be able to make his next turn through the rotation.
