Devenski underwent Tommy John surgery Saturday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Devenski had been sidelined since mid-May due to a sprained UCL, and he'll miss the remainder of the year following his Tommy John surgery. Given the lengthy recovery timetable, the right-hander will also likely miss the start of the 2022 campaign.

Hernandez (quadriceps) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Hernandez was diagnosed with a severe quad strain following his recent MRI, and he'll now be unavailable until at least early August. Daniel Castano is the likeliest candidate to take the right-hander's place in the starting rotation going forward.

Neris was placed on the paternity list Saturday.

Neris will be away from the team for up to three days following the birth of his child. Jose Alvarado and Sam Coonrod could see save opportunities in the near future while Neris is unavailable.

Melancon earned the save Friday against the Mets after tossing a scoreless inning, allowing two hits and fanning three.

Melancon allowed singles to Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso, but he struck out the other three batters he faced -- Kevin Pillar, James McCann and Brandon Drury. The veteran reliever has gone 19-for-21 in save chances this season and owns a sterling 0.68 ERA through 25 appearances.

Rogers notched the save Friday against the Cubs after tossing a scoreless inning.

Rogers didn't allow a hit -- nor did he walk anyone or strike out anyone -- but he still got the job done after retiring the side in order with groundouts from Ian Happ, Sergio Alcantara and Rafael Ortega. The submariner notched his seventh save of the campaign and has gone 7-for-10 in save chances so far.

Castano is the likeliest candidate to take the rotation spot of Elieser Hernandez (quadriceps) on Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of The Miami Herald reports.

Braxton Garrett would only be working on three days' rest if he got the call Tuesday, while Castano hasn't pitched since June 1. In four starts for Triple-A Jacksonville this season, Castano has a 4.98 ERA and 16:10 K:BB through 21.2 innings, but he has provided the Jumbo Shrimp with quality starts in his last two outings.

Menez (1-0) earned the win Friday against the Cubs after pitching two scoreless innings in relief, giving up one hit and striking out two.

Menez silenced the Cubs when he was on the mound and looked dominant, as he tossed 25 of his 36 pitches for strikes en route to earning his first win of the season. The left-hander has logged just four innings this year across two appearances but is yet to allow a run.

Rondon will be recalled by the Cardinals on Saturday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Rondon began the year with Triple-A Memphis and posted a 5.32 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 23.2 innings across five appearances (four starts). Although the right-hander served mainly as a starter in the minors, he'll likely make his major-league debut out of the bullpen.

Webb was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.

Webb had been in the minors since May 22, and he tossed three scoreless innings across three relief appearances with Triple-A Gwinnett. He'll now return to the major-league bullpen after left-hander Grant Dayton (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day IL.

Underwood (2-2) pitched two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out four to earn the win versus Miami.

Starter Mitch Keller left the game with a heat illness, and Underwood was the first reliever to enter. He did well in relief, and Pittsburgh pulled ahead on his watch, which put him in line for the win. The right-hander has a 3.93 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB across 34.1 innings this year. He's added one hold, but Underwood has taken on a bulk relief role lately -- five of his last seven outings have spanned multiple innings.
