Craig Yoho RP | MIL
Brewers' Craig Yoho: Back in majors
The Brewers recalled Yoho from Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
Yoho came into the season as one of baseball's top reliever prospects, but his control has deserted him in the majors. He has an 8.22 ERA and 9:5 BB:K in 7.2 innings across three separate stints with the Brewers in 2025. Yoho has been as advertised at Triple-A, however, logging a 1.04 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 55 strikeouts and seven saves in 43.1 innings across 39 appearances. Yoho should work in low-leverage situations as he rejoins Milwaukee, at least initially.

Sauryn Lao SP | WAS
Mariners' Sauryn Lao: DFA'd by Seattle
The Mariners designated Lao for assignment Monday.
Lao was booted from the 40-man roster in order to make room for right-hander Luke Jackson, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma. The 26-year-old Lao appeared in two games out of the bullpen for Seattle this season, registering an 8.10 ERA, 2.10 WHIP and 4:1 K:BB across 3.1 innings.

Sawyer Gipson-Long SP | DET
Tigers' Sawyer Gipson-Long: Set for call-up Tuesday
The Tigers are expected to recall Gipson-Long from Triple-A Toledo ahead of Tuesday's game against the Mets, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
With the active roster expanding from 26 to 28 men Monday, Detroit recalled right-hander Chase Lee and outfielder Justyn-Henry Malloy from Triple-A to fill the two openings, but the Tigers will make another move Tuesday to facilitate Gipson-Long's call-up. The Tigers don't have a starter listed for Tuesday, so Gipson-Long appears likely to begin that game on the mound or serve as a bulk reliever. The right-hander has previously made six appearances (two starts) for the Tigers this season, logging a 4.32 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB in 25 innings.

Angels' Carson Fulmer: Moved to 60-day IL
The Angels transferred Fulmer (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.
Fulmer was diagnosed with a right elbow strain last week and is now officially out for the rest of the season. The 31-year-old posted a 5.83 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 26:11 K:BB over 29.1 innings across 13 appearances with the Angels and will be a non-tender candidate this offseason.

Luke Jackson RP | SEA
Mariners' Luke Jackson: Joins big-league roster
Seattle selected Jackson's contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.
Jackson will be back in the big leagues with his third different team of the season, following stints with the Rangers and Tigers. Between his two previous stops, the veteran reliever submitted a 4.54 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 28:24 K:BB across 39.2 innings. He'll likely assume a low-leverage role out of the Seattle bullpen.

Mitch Farris RP | LAA
Angels' Mitch Farris: Contract selected
The Angels selected Farris' contract from Double-A Rocket City on Monday.
The Angels have yet to announce their probable pitchers for this week's series in Kansas City, but Farris is likely to fill one of the open slots. The left-hander has had a fine season with Rocket City, collecting a 4.27 ERA and 142:55 K:BB over 116 innings. He was acquired from Atlanta in a trade over the offseason and will be making his major-league debut when he gets into a game.

Tim Mayza RP | PHI
Phillies' Tim Mayza: Activated Monday
The Phillies activated Mayza (lat) from the 60-day injured list Monday.
The Phillies claimed Mayza off waivers from the Pirates on Sunday while he was nearing the end of his rehab assignment, and he'll be activated Monday as Philadelphia's active roster expands to 28 men. Mayza had a 1.93 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and six strikeouts in 4.2 innings on his rehab assignment and he should operate in low-leverage situations down the stretch.

Brandon Waddell RP | NYM
Mets' Brandon Waddell: Saves bullpen Sunday
Waddell gave up three hits and two walks over 4.1 scoreless relief innings in Sunday's loss to the Marlins. He struck out four.
Called back up to the majors earlier in the day, Waddell took over from a struggling Kodai Senga in the fifth inning and gave the rest of the Mets' bullpen the day off, tossing 58 pitches (41 strikes) to go the rest of the way in a 5-1 loss. That workload might result in him getting bumped back to Triple-A Syracuse in favor of a fresh arm, but with the team's rotation in general struggling in August, Waddell could end up being a key figure in any September playoff push. The southpaw's worked at least three innings in five of his last six big-league appearances dating back to June 28, posting a 3.66 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 15:8 K:BB in 19.2 innings during those outings.

Chris Roycroft RP | STL
Cardinals' Chris Roycroft: Back in big-league bullpen
The Cardinals recalled Roycroft from Triple-A Memphis on Monday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Roycroft has been shuttled back and forth between Memphis and St. Louis numerous times this season, though he'll be returning to the big leagues for the first time since June. The big righty holds a 6.92 ERA and 9:9 K:BB over 13 innings for St. Louis in 2025.

Tyler Zuber RP | MIA
Marlins' Tyler Zuber: Moved to 60-day IL
The Marlins transferred Zuber (lat) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.
Miami placed Zuber on the 15-day IL on Saturday after he was diagnosed with a right lat strain, and his move to the 60-day IL two days later confirms that he won't pitch again in 2025. The Marlins called up right-hander Luarbert Arias from Triple-A Jacksonville to replace Zuber on the 40-man roster.
