Alexander was non-tendered by the Rays on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Alexander served as both a traditional starter and multi-inning reliever for the Rays in 2024, posting a 5.10 ERA and 1.24 WHIP across 107.2 frames. He should be able to find a bullpen role elsewhere around the league, with the potential to also be a spot starter.

The Guardians traded Strzelecki to the Pirates on Friday in exchange for cash.

The right-hander was designated for assignment Tuesday in order to make room for Franco Aleman on the Guardians' 40-man roster, but Strzelecki will now claim a spot on Pittsburgh's 40-man instead. The 30-year-old put up a 5.01 ERA and 1.39 WHIP across 46.2 innings in the minors last season, and he will compete for a spot in the Pirates' bullpen during spring training.

Poche was non-tendered by the Rays on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Poche has been a key high-leverage reliever for the Rays the last several seasons, picking up a combined 65 holds since 2022. He's also posted a WHIP no worse than 1.16 in that span, meaning he should be in relatively high demand on the open market.

Rainey was non-tendered by the Nationals on Friday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Rainey is coming off his first full campaign since undergoing Tommy John surgery. He understandably showed rust early on in 2024, but he managed a 2.88 ERA with a 22:11 K:BB across 25 innings following the All-Star break. That makes Friday's move mildly surprising, though Rainey should have the chance to latch onto another big-league roster.

The Nationals non-tendered Finnegan on Friday.

Finnegan will enter free agency after spending the last five years with the Nationals. He registered a 3.68 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 60:24 K:BB over 63.2 innings in 2024, and Finnegan's 38 saves were a career high and third-most in the majors behind Ryan Helsley and Emmanuel Clase. Coming off his first All-Star appearance, the 33-year-old Finnegan should draw plenty of interest from teams looking to add a high-leverage option to their bullpens.

The Dodgers non-tendered Logue on Friday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Logue signed a minor-league deal with the Dodgers in September just six days before being selected to make his season debut. After struggling in his two appearances for Los Angeles (four earned runs over two innings), he was sent back to Triple-A and will now look to latch on with another team in free agency. Given his 2.69 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in Triple-A last season, he should have no problem securing at least a minor-league deal.

Merryweather (knee) agreed to a one-year, $1.225 million contract with the Cubs on Friday to avoid arbitration, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.

Merryweather missed the majority of last season due to rib and knee injuries. He wasn't very effective when healthy, logging a 6.60 ERA and 1.80 WHIP in 15 innings. He'll officially stick around for another year in Chicago, though there is still no word on if he'll be ready for spring training after undergoing surgery on his right knee in late September.

Gibaut was non-tendered by the Reds on Friday, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Gibaut battled both forearm and calf injuries that sidelined him for the majority of the 2024 season. He did return to make two appearances in the big leagues. Gibaut may have to settle for a non-roster invitation to spring training, but he should have the chance to contribute to a major-league roster at some point in 2025.

The Dodgers non-tendered Honeywell on Friday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Honeywell ended the 2024 regular season on the Dodgers' 15-day injured list due to a cracked right fingernail, but he was added to the NLCS roster against the Mets. Honeywell made three postseason appearances, allowing nine earned runs on nine hits and three walks across 8.2 innings. The 29-year-old will enter free agency and look to sign with a team in need of right-handed bullpen depth.

Swanson agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract with the Blue Jays on Friday to avoid arbitration, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Swanson will stick around in Toronto for a third straight season after being acquired from the Mariners in November of 2022. Swanson spent most of the 2024 regular season in the majors, and across 45 outings with the Blue Jays, he posted a 5.03 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 39.1 innings. The 31-year-old will provide right-handed relief out of Toronto's bullpen for the 2025 campaign.
