Adam (oblique) was activated from the 15-day injured list Thursday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Adam spent three weeks on the IL with a left oblique strain but is ready to rejoin the Rays' bullpen after throwing off a mound without issue in recent days. He has a 2.57 ERA in 55 appearances and will return to a high-leverage relief role.

Jax picked up the save in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Cincinnati. He allowed no hits and one walk while striking out one over a scoreless inning.

Jax issued a leadoff walk to Nick Martini after entering the game with a two-run lead in the bottom of the ninth, but the right-handed reliever was able to retire the next three batters to record his third save of the season and his first since Aug. 24. Jax has allowed just one hit over his last three appearances and now carries a 3.12 ERA in September after he scuffled to a 9.00 ERA in August. Jhoan Duran remains the clear closer, but he pitched the eighth inning Wednesday before Minnesota's late comeback since he recently hasn't seen much work.

Diaz (9-5) was tagged with the loss and a blown save against the Twins on Wednesday. He allowed three runs on two hits and one walk over one-third of an inning.

Diaz's line looks much worse than what actually transpired: a 34.6-mph infield single, a stolen base with a throwing error that moved the runner to the third, and a 70.4-mph soft liner to drive in a run. Following a walk, the closer was replaced by Sam Moll. After a double steal and intentional walk, Jorge Polanco singled in two runs, both charged to Diaz. This was just the young closer's third blown save in 40 opportunities and was the first time he's given up more than one earned run in an outing since Aug. 4.

King (4-7) took the loss against Toronto on Wednesday, allowing one run on five hits and no walks while striking out 13 batters over seven innings.

Though he was tagged with the loss due to a stagnant New York offense, King pitched arguably his best game as a major leaguer, tallying a career-best strikeout total and racking up 16 whiffs over seven frames. The only run he allowed came when Bo Bichette reached on a two-out infield single to knock in Kevin Kiermaier in the third inning. King has been a strikeout machine over his past three outings, posting a 30:2 K:BB along with a 1.62 ERA and 1.02 WHIP over 16.2 innings. It would be an understatement to say that his late-season transition to the rotation has gone well, and King could be setting himself up for a full-time role as a starter in 2024 with his recent outstanding run.

Vest allowed a hit and struck out two over 1.2 innings to earn the save in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers.

Regular closer Alex Lange blew a save Tuesday and had pitched three of the last four days, while Vest was fresher. Vest threw 23 pitches (15 strikes) to get the last five outs of this contest for his second save this season. He's added 10 holds and two blown saves, and he's on an 11.2-inning scoreless streak. For the year, Vest has a 2.80 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 52:13 K:BB across 45 innings.

Coulombe (5-2) allowed a run on two hits over one-third of an inning, taking the loss Wednesday versus the Astros.

Coulombe entered this series with a 12-inning scoreless streak, but the Astros have tagged him for two runs across one inning in two appearances. He allowed a double to Yainer Diaz and a walk-off single to Mauricio Dubon in Wednesday's contest. Coulombe has arguably been the Orioles' most consistent lefty reliever this year with a 2.64 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 53:11 K:BB through 48.2 innings, and he's added two saves and 20 holds over 57 appearances. While he's struggled in the series, he should still be able to hold down a setup role the rest of the way.

Thompson (5-7) allowed four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings to take the loss Wednesday versus the Brewers.

Thompson yielded a three-run home run to Josh Donaldson in the first inning and a solo shot to Tyrone Taylor in the fourth. This was the first time Thompson's allowed multiple homers in an outing this year, though he's now given up a season-high four runs in consecutive starts. The southpaw is at a 4.57 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 67:24 K:BB through 61 innings over 24 appearances (eight starts) overall. He's projected to make his next start on the road in a rematch with the Brewers.

Hader gave up a hit in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to record his 31st save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Rockies.

The southpaw failed to strike out any batters at all over three appearances and 2.1 innings against Colorado in this series, but he still came away with two saves and a win. Hader still hit 97.6 mph with his final pitch Wednesday as he got Brendan Rodgers to fly out, so those with fantasy shares in the San Diego closer would seem to have little cause for alarm. On the season, Hader carries a 1.21 ERA and 79:28 K:BB through 52 innings.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that Peralta is dealing with some "tricep stuff," Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Boone didn't go into much detail regarding Peralta's injury, but it could help explain why the 32-year-old lefty hasn't pitched in nearly a week. A firm return timeline won't be established until more information is provided, but fantasy managers should consider Peralta day-to-day going forward.

Topa walked one and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to record his third save of the season in a 6-3 win over the A's.

Andres Munoz handled the eighth inning in this one, leaving the ninth to Topa, and the 32-year-old came through with his first save since July 22. Topa's numbers have taken a bit of a step back in September, but he still has a solid 3.48 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 7:3 K:BB through 10.1 innings on the month while adding a win and a hold to Wednesday's save over 10 appearances.
