Shawn Dubin RP | ARI
Astros' Shawn Dubin: Faces hitters over weekend
Dubin (forearm) completed a 27-pitch live batting practice session Friday at the Astros' facility in Florida, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Dubin has been on the shelf since June 24 due to a right forearm strain, but he looks like he'll soon be ready to head out on a rehab assignment. The 29-year-old righty has made 18 appearances out of the Houston bullpen this season, logging a 1.33 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB while collecting two wins and six holds over 20.1 innings.

Justin Bruihl RP | STL
Blue Jays' Justin Bruihl: Dispatched to Triple-A
The Blue Jays optioned Bruihl to Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.
Bruihl was sent out to the minors to make room on the active roster for lefty Easton Lucas, who was called up from Triple-A to start the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Orioles. Following his promotion from Buffalo on July 8, Bruihl made seven relief appearances for Toronto and surrendered six runs (five earned) on 13 hits and four walks over five innings.

Andrew Nardi RP | MIA
Marlins' Andrew Nardi: Resumes mound work
Nardi (back) has begun throwing off a mound, MLB.com reports.
The southpaw reliever has yet to pitch in 2025 due to lower-back inflammation that cropped up in spring training, but he began a throwing progression in mid-June and has now graduated to mound work. It's not clear exactly what that entails or when he might be ready to face live batters, or even if he's done so already, but a return to the Marlins' bullpen some time in August could be feasible.

Yaramil Hiraldo RP | BAL
Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Back with big club
The Orioles recalled Hiraldo from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday.
Just one day ago, Hiraldo was optioned to Norfolk, but he'll be eligible to rejoin the Orioles early since the team placed reliever Colin Selby (hamstring) on the 15-day injured list Tuesday in a corresponding move. Hiraldo will likely be ticketed for a low-leverage role in the bullpen, though he could move up the depth chart if the Orioles part with any of their veteran relievers ahead of Thursday's trade deadline.

Colin Selby RP | BAL
Orioles' Colin Selby: Shelved with hamstring strain
The Orioles placed Selby on the 15-day injured list Tuesday due to a left hamstring strain.
Baltimore called up right-hander Yaramil Hiraldo from Triple-A Norfolk to replace Selby in the bullpen and on the 26-man active roster. After getting recalled from Norfolk shortly before the All-Star break, Selby gave up three earned runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two over 5.1 innings in his five relief appearances before going down with the injury.

Randy Dobnak RP | SEA
Tigers' Randy Dobnak: Will remain at Triple-A
Dobnak, who was acquired in a trade from Minnesota on Monday, is set to report to Triple-A Toledo, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
Dobnak has spent most of this season with Triple-A St. Paul outside of one long-relief appearance for the Twins back on March 30. The veteran righty could eventually be a swingman for the Tigers while injuries begin to mount for the big-league pitching staff, but for now, Dobnak will stick as organizational depth in the minors.

Lazaro Estrada RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Lazaro Estrada: Called up for doubleheader
The Blue Jays recalled Estrada from Triple-A Buffalo and have designated him as their 27th man for Tuesday's doubleheader with the Orioles.
Toronto also recalled lefty Easton Lucas from Triple-A to start the first game of the twin bill, but since Lucas will be taking the hill on three days' rest, the Blue Jays could look to Estrada to cover multiple innings of relief behind him. Estrada has been working primarily as a starter with Buffalo this season but made his MLB debut in long relief back on July 5 against the Angels, tossing four innings and giving up one earned run on two hits and no walks.

Ryan Cusick RP | PHI
Phillies' Ryan Cusick: Remains in organization
The Phillies outrighted Cusick to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday.
Cusick passed through waivers after being booted off the Phillies' 40-man roster and will remain in the organization. The right-hander has yet to see any action in the majors and has allowed 21 runs over 21.2 innings at the Triple-A level in 2025.

Dylan Lee RP | ATL
Braves' Dylan Lee: July struggles continue
Lee struck out one and gave up a solo home run to Randal Grichuk in the eighth inning of Monday's win over the Royals.
Taking the mound with Atlanta ahead 9-3, Lee saw his second pitch of the frame sail over the left-field wall. The southpaw has had a tough time keeping the ball in the yard of late, and through 11 appearances in July he's stumbled to a 7.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 11:2 K:BB while serving up three homers in nine innings. With Raisel Iglesias a prime candidate to get shipped out at the trade deadline though, Lee could still find himself in the mix for saves in August alongside Pierce Johnson.

Pierce Johnson RP | CIN
Braves' Pierce Johnson: Collects ninth hold
Johnson struck out one in a perfect sixth inning Monday to record his ninth hold of the season in a win over the Royals.
The right-hander continues to provide Atlanta with reliable high-leverage innings. Over his last 15 appearances, Johnson has been scored upon only once, delivering a 0.59 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 17:3 K:BB in 15.1 innings. With Raisel Iglesias a prime candidate to get shipped out at the trade deadline, Johnson could be in the mix for saves in August alongside Dylan Lee.
