The Guardians optioned Enright to Triple-A Columbus on Saturday.

Cleveland summoned Enright from Triple-A to serve as the 27th man for Friday's doubleheader with the White Sox, but his stay with the big club lasted just one day. He appeared out of the bullpen in the second game of the twin bill, striking out three over 1.1 scoreless frames in the Guardians' 5-4 win in 11 innings.

The Guardians placed Sewald on the 15-day injured list Tuesday due to right shoulder strain, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Sewald returned to action for the Guardians on July 5 after he had been shelved since late April due to a right posterior deltoid strain, and now he's back on the IL with another shoulder-related issue. The veteran reliever will be eligible to return July 27, but it's not yet clear what his timeline for a return looks like. Sewald has been limited to only 15.1 innings this season, collecting a 4.70 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 18:4 K:BB.

Arizona optioned Morillo to Triple-A Reno following Sunday's 5-1 win over the Angels.

Morillo went unused Sunday, but he was roughed up in his relief appearance in Saturday's 10-5 loss, giving up four runs on five hits while striking out one over one inning. Arizona will likely wait until later in the week before announcing a corresponding roster move.

The Twins acquired Davis from the Dodgers on Monday in exchange for cash considerations, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Davis had been designated for assignment by the Dodgers following a nightmarish relief outing July 4 against the Astros in which he gave up 10 earned runs while recording four outs. For his career, Davis has posted an 8.95 ERA across 23 outings at the big-league level covering parts of four seasons. He'll begin his tenure in the Twins organization at Triple-A St. Paul.

The Marlins announced July 7 that Tinoco (forearm) is continuing to make progress with his throwing program and could soon be cleared to throw bullpen sessions, MLB.com reports.

Tinoco was able to resume playing catch just over a week after he was placed on the injured list June 6 due to a right forearm strain, but the Marlins have been bringing the right-hander along slowly in his recovery. As a one- or two-inning reliever, Tinoco won't require an extended rehab assignment, but since he has yet to get back on a mound, he shouldn't be expected to return from the IL until late July at the soonest.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said that Rodriguez (forearm) has returned to Tampa and is scheduled to meet with a doctor Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Initially placed on the injured list June 11 due to a right forearm strain, Rodriguez was pulled from his second rehab appearance with Triple-A Durham on Friday after he experienced right elbow soreness and noticed a stark decline in velocity. The Rays will likely decide on a treatment plan for Rodriguez once he meets with a doctor, but as a result of the setback, he won't be on track to return from the IL coming out of the All-Star break.

The Mets released Hartwig on June 27.

Per Will Sammon of The Athletic, Hartwig was released so that he could sign a contract with the Hanshin Tigers of Nippon Professional Baseball in Japan. The 27-year-old has made 32 relief appearances at the big-league level, holding a 5.14 ERA and 34:19 K:BB over 42 innings.

The Rays announced June 30 that Bigge (lat/face) was cleared to resume "low-effort" baseball activities, MLB.com reports.

Initially placed on the injured list May 6 due to a right lat strain, Bigge suffered an unrelated setback June 19, when he was struck in the face by a line drive while he was watching a game from the dugout. Bigge sustained multiple fractures as a result of the incident and underwent surgery a day later before being released from the hospital. Though Bigge hasn't been shut down from activity, the Rays haven't indicated when he'll be ready to initiate a throwing program. The reliever still looks to be multiple weeks away from returning from the 15-day injured list.

Triple-A Toledo placed Brieske on its 7-day injured list Thursday due to an unspecified injury.

Brieske's move to the IL came just a couple days after he retired just one batter while allowing five earned runs on two hits and three walks in a relief appearance for Toledo. Before he was optioned to Triple-A on June 12, Brieske logged a 6.55 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 22 innings out of the Tigers bullpen.

Triple-A Toledo placed Smith on its 7-day injured list Thursday due to an unspecified injury.

After being optioned to Toledo on July 2, Smith made just one appearance for the Triple-A club before landing on the IL. The 25-year-old right-hander maintains a 2.70 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 37:11 K:BB in 26.2 innings between Toledo and Double-A Erie this season.
