The Marlins re-signed Zuber to a minor-league contract Wednesday.
Zuber got into 10 games between the Mets and Marlins in 2025, yielding 15 runs over 12 frames. The 30-year-old reliever has a career 6.26 ERA at the big-league level but has struck out 73 across 64.2 innings. Zuber is likely to start next season at Triple-A Jacksonville.

Joe Jimenez RP | ATL
Braves' Joe Jimenez: Underwent another knee surgery
Atlanta president of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos said last week that Jimenez recently underwent a cleanup procedure on his left knee, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Jimenez had surgery last November to address cartilage damage in the knee, and he wound up requiring another operation on the same knee following a setback. The reliever missed the entire 2025 season, and Anthopoulos noted that a timetable for Jimenez won't become clearer until late December or January. Jimenez -- who is owed $9 million in 2026 in his final year under contract -- boasts a 2.81 ERA, 30.1 percent strikeout rate and 7.2 percent walk rate in his two regular seasons with Atlanta and should be in line for high-leverage bullpen work in 2026, if healthy.

Sean Newcomb RP | CHW
Sean Newcomb: Interest as starter, reliever
Newcomb (elbow) is drawing interest from teams as both a starter and reliever, Will Sammon, Ken Rosenthal and Katie Woo of The Athletic report.
Newcomb thrived as a full-time reliever after being traded to the Athletics in May, posting a 1.75 ERA and 50:14 K:BB over 51.1 innings. The left-hander hasn't been a full-time starter at the major-league level since 2018, but he threw six different pitch types out of the A's bullpen. Newcomb ended the 2025 season on the injured list with left elbow inflammation, and it's unclear where he's at in his offseason throwing program.

Caleb Boushley RP | TB
Caleb Boushley: Signs overseas
Boushley signed a contract with the KT Wiz of the Korea Baseball Organization on Tuesday, Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net reports.
Boushley will take his talents overseas after posting a 6.02 ERA and 1.57 WHIP over 43.1 innings with the Rangers this past season. He logged a 2.14 ERA over 33.2 innings in Triple-A, however, and a strong season in Korea could enable him to recapture the attention of MLB clubs.

Robert Stock SP | NYM
Mets' Robert Stock: Latches on with Mets
Stock signed a minor-league contract with the Mets on Tuesday, Michael Mayer of MetsmerizedOnline.com reports.
Stock saw major-league action for the first time since 2021 this past season and gave up three earned runs over 2.2 innings with the Red Sox. He was more successful at Triple-A Worcester, finishing the year with a 3.92 ERA and 1.33 WHIP over 85 frames. He will most likely begin 2026 at Triple-A Syracuse.

Kyle Leahy RP | STL
Cardinals' Kyle Leahy: Expected to capture rotation spot
Leahy is expected to open the 2026 season in the Cardinals' rotation, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
The trade of Sonny Gray to the Red Sox further depleted St. Louis' rotation depth, and, barring a poor showing during spring training, it sounds like Leahy will win one of the five rotation slots. Leahy threw three innings in the Cardinals' final regular season game in 2025 in what was his first-ever start at the major-league level. He did work multiple frames out of the bullpen often this season, but Leahy has not been used as a starter regularly since 2022. If he is indeed in the rotation in 2026, some workload restrictions are likely to be in place,

Ariel Jurado RP | TEX
Ariel Jurado: Re-ups with Korean club
The Samsung Lions of the Korea Baseball Organization re-signed Jurado to a one-year, $1.6 million contract Tuesday, Jee-ho Yoo of the Yonhap News Agency reports.
Jurado has spent each of the last three seasons overseas and has become one of the best pitchers in the KBO, having collected a 2.60 ERA and 142:36 K:BB over 197.1 innings for the Lions in 2025. The 29-year-old last saw action at the big-league level in 2020.

Josh Hader RP | HOU
Astros' Josh Hader: Expects normal offseason
Hader (shoulder) stated Monday that he feels back at full strength after completing his rehab program a few weeks ago, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Hader's 2025 season came to an early end after he was diagnosed with a left shoulder strain, but he's feeling strong after finishing up his rehab. The lefty noted Monday that he thinks he'll be able to throw as he normally would leading up to spring training. "It should be normal," said Hader. "Obviously, intensity gets up and we'll see how that goes and how I'm recovering, bouncing back from that. But as of now, everything is status quo, back to normal."

Matt Krook RP | ATH
Athletics' Matt Krook: Signs on with A's
Krook agreed to a minor-league contract with the Athletics on Saturday.
Krook elected free agency earlier in the month after being sent outright to Cleveland's Triple-A affiliate, and he's since decided to return to the A's. He made three appearances for the Athletics during the 2025 season, surrendering two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out three over 3.1 innings.

Parker Mushinski RP | HOU
Rockies' Parker Mushinski: Gets NRI deal from Rockies
The Rockies signed Mushinski to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training Monday, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.
Mushinski spent the entirety of the 2025 campaign at Triple-A Columbus in the Guardians organization, holding a 3.78 ERA and 66:33 K:BB over 50 innings. The lefty reliever has made 31 appearances at the big-league level, collecting a 5.45 ERA and 26:12 K:BB across 33 frames. Mushinski will compete for a spot in Colorado's Opening Day bullpen but will likely begin the year at Triple-A Albuquerque.
