Chris Paddack RP | TEX
Padres' Chris Paddack: Starting Saturday for Padres
Paddack will be recalled from High-A Lake Elsinore to start Saturday at Pittsburgh, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Paddack was sent to High-A on June 12 with the Friars looking to manage his innings during his rookie campaign, and he'll make his return Saturday after spending the minimum 10 days in the minors. The 23-year-old has a 3.15 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 72:13 K:BB through 65.2 innings this season, but he struggled over his final three starts before being sent down with 13 runs allowed (12 earned) over 14.1 innings.

Zach Davies SP | WAS
Brewers' Zach Davies: Early exit against Padres
Davies didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 8-7 loss to the Padres, coughing up five runs on nine hits and three walks over 2.2 innings while striking out three.
It was the shortest outing of the season for the right-hander, while the nine hits surrendered was also a new season worst. Davies will take a 3.06 ERA and 53:25 K:BB through 82.1 innings into his next start Tuesday, at home against the Mariners.

Zach Eflin SP | BAL
Phillies' Zach Eflin: Strikes out seven in defeat
Eflin (6-7) allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits with seven strikeouts and three walks across six innings while taking a loss against the Nationals on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old has been on a bit of a strikeout spree, punching out 16 in his last 14 frames, although both outings were losses. Eflin only allowed five runs in those two starts combined, only to be done in by little run support in both defeats. Owners may need to be wary of his 4.00 FIP, but Eflin could have a much better record. He is 6-7 with a 2.83 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 73 strikeouts in 86 innings this season. His next start is scheduled for Sunday at home against the Marlins.

Patrick Corbin SP | TOR
Nationals' Patrick Corbin: Yields one run in victory
Corbin (6-5) recorded eight strikeouts and allowed one run on four hits and three walks across seven innings to earn a victory against the Phillies on Wednesday.
This was a strong rebound after Corbin allowed a season-high seven runs in his last outing. The win also snapped a three-game losing streak. Corbin's ERA increased half a run after his last poor performance, but it's back below 4.00 following Wednesday. He is 6-5 with a 3.90 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 102 strikeouts in 92.1 innings this season. His next start will come against the Braves at home Sunday.

Tyler Mahle SP | ATL
Reds' Tyler Mahle: Yields two runs in no-decision
Mahle allowed two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and one walk across seven innings during a no-decision against the Astros on Wednesday.
This was Mahle's best start in more than a month, but Astros starter Gerrit Cole pitched just a little bit better. Therefore, despite the team victory, Mahle didn't log the win. Mahle did managed to drop his season ERA and improved his K/BB rate to 4.44. He remains 2-7 with a 4.17 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 80 strikeouts in 77.2 innings this season. The right-hander will make his next start Tuesday at the Angels.

Stephen Strasburg SP | WAS
Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Could start Friday
Strasburg threw a bullpen session Wednesday, suggesting his next start could come Friday against the Braves, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Strasburg is currently listed as the probable starter for Thursday's series finale against the Phillies, but he typically throws a bullpen two days before his scheduled start, so it appears the Nationals could be shuffling up their rotation. If Strasburg's start is pushed back to Friday, either Austin Voth or Erick Fedde would likely make a spot start Thursday.

Antonio Senzatela RP | MIL
Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Puts clamps on Arizona
Senzatela moved to 6-5 after limiting the Diamondbacks to one run on seven hits and four walks while striking out five over 6.2 innings in Tuesday's 8-1 win.
Senzatela rebounded a rough outing against the Cubs last week at Coors Field to deliver his fourth quality start in five outings. Though he sports a 3.45 ERA over that stretch, his 15:13 K:BB in 28.2 innings doesn't inspire much confidence about his fantasy prospects moving forward.

Jameson Taillon SP | TOR
Pirates' Jameson Taillon: Won't throw for another week
Taillon (elbow) is 10-to-14 days away from resuming a throwing program, John Perrotto of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Taillon has been rehabbing at the team's spring training facilities in Bradenton. While he's been increasing his range-of-motion exercises, the right-hander will remain without a timetable for his return until he resumes a throwing program.

Jordan Lyles RP | KC
Pirates' Jordan Lyles: Rehab start set for Sunday
Lyles (hamstring) will make a minor-league rehab start Sunday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Lyles completed a four-inning simulated game earlier in the week, but he'll need at least one more tune-up before returning from the injured list. The right-hander is slated to throw six innings or 85 pitches with an undetermined affiliate, and if everything goes as planned, he could be cleared to join the big-league rotation next weekend against the Brewers. In the meantime, Steven Brault is expected to make one more spot start in place of Lyles on Sunday.

Pablo Lopez SP | MIN
Marlins' Pablo Lopez: Officially lands on IL
Lopez (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.
This was expected. Lopez is apparently dealing with a right shoulder strain, though the severity of the issue won't be known until he undergoes further testing Wednesday. Jose Quijada was summoned from the minors in a corresponding move, while Zac Gallen is set to join the rotation in place of Lopez on Thursday.
