Hall (1-1) earned the win against Cincinnati in the second game of Friday's doubleheader, allowing four hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings. He struck out five.

Hall was excellent in just his second big-league start since April. In two spot starts this month, the southpaw has allowed just one earned run while racking up 14 strikeouts over 11.2 innings. Overall, Hall sports a 4.82 ERA on the season with a 1.75 WHIP and 27:14 K:BB across 28 innings. While he figures to head back to Triple-A after the twin bill, he figures to be the first man up should the Brewers need rotation help down the stretch.

Falter did not factor into the decision in Friday's 10-8 loss to Cleveland, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over four innings. He struck out two.

The 27-year-old struggled out the gate, allowing a two-RBI double to Josh Naylor in the first inning to open the game's scoring. After allowing two more runs in the fourth inning, Pirates manager Derek Shelton had seen enough and didn't allow Falter out for the fifth, even though he'd tossed only 59 pitches. The Pittsburgh southpaw has pitched to 4.41 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 81:34 K:BB across 116.1 innings in 23 starts this season. He currently lines up to make his next outing at home against the Nationals.

Fedde (8-8) took the loss Friday against the Yankees, allowing four runs on four hits and one walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out eight.

The St. Louis right-hander's regression with his new ballclub continued in this 96-pitch outing. He struggled the second time through the Yankees lineup, yielding an RBI double to Juan Soto before Austin Wells cracked a two-run homer to right field. After pitching to a 3.11 ERA over 121.2 innings with the White Sox, Fedde sports a 4.64 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 29:12 K:BB across 33 frames for the Cards. He tentatively is scheduled to make his next start at home against the Mariners next weekend.

Imanaga (11-3) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out eight and earning a win over Washington.

Imanaga gave up three runs through three innings, including a solo shot off the bat of Dylan Crews, but settled in to deliver a quality start. It was Imanaga's second straight quality start and third in six August appearances. He gave up only three long balls through his first nine starts but has been taken deep 20 times over his last 16 outings. Imanaga now owns a 3.14 ERA with a 148:23 K:BB through 146.1 frames. He's projected for a home start against the Pirates next week.

Irvin (9-11) yielded seven runs on eight hits and two walks over 4.2 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Cubs.

Irvin fell apart in the second inning, coughing up all seven runs in the disastrous frame. It was capped off by Cody Bellinger's two-run blast. Irvin gave up five or more runs just once in his first 18 starts this season but has done so four times in his last 10 appearances. During that 10-start stretch, he's registered a 6.55 ERA, driving his season ERA up to 4.08 through 161 innings. Irvin's next outing is projected to come in Pittsburgh.

Suarez (11-6) allowed four runs on five hits and a walk over four innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against Atlanta.

Suarez threw two scoreless frames before Atlanta plated two runs in each of the third and fourth innings. He served up back-to-back homers to Orlando Arcia and Sean Murphy in the third. It was just the second time this year that Suarez gave up multiple home runs in an outing and he's allowed just 11 through 128.1 innings this season. He's posted a 6.25 ERA while going 1-5 over his last seven outings, raising his season ERA to 3.02. Suarez is in line to start in Miami next week.

Lopez (8-4) allowed a run on four hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out six and earning a win over Philadelphia.

The only damage against Lopez was Bryson Stott's solo shot in the fourth inning. In three starts since returning from injury, Lopez has given up three runs over 17 frames. He forced 13 whiffs Friday, including seven with the slider, and he earned his first win since July 7. He's been outstanding all year, registering a 2.00 ERA through 121.2 frames. Lopez is currently lined up for a home matchup against the Rockies next week.

Yamamoto (triceps) will throw a bullpen session Sunday and make his next rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Yamamoto began his rehab assignment with Oklahoma City on Wednesday, when he allowed a solo home run and struck out two batters across two innings while throwing 31 pitches. He has been on the IL since mid-June due to a right rotator cuff strain, and he didn't begin throwing bullpen sessions until early August. Yamamoto is aiming to rejoin the Dodgers' rotation in mid-September, and he'll need a couple more rehab starts before doing so. In the 14 starts before the injury, he went 6-2 with a 2.92 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 84:17 K:BB over 74 innings.

Manager Carlos Mendoza said Friday that Senga (calf) is playing catch out to 90 feet, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Senga won't return during the regular season, but he continues to rehab in hopes of returning in time for postseason play, should the Mets qualify. The 31-year-old still has plenty of hurdles to jump over before being activated, but it's encouraging that he's been able to play catch. Senga has made only one big-league start this season.

Scott (elbow) threw off a mound Friday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Scott was limited to his fastball and changeup Friday, but he is expected to use his full arsenal the next time he throws off a mound. He has been on the injured list since July 23 due to a UCL sprain in his right elbow. Prior to the injury, Scott went 0-3 over nine starts with a 4.56 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 39:12 K:BB across 47.1 innings.
