Morton (3-0) yielded a run on three hits and a walk over seven frames Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Mets.

Morton rolled through six easy innings before Francisco Lindor broke up with the shutout with a solo shot in the seventh. Since allowing 10 total runs in two starts April 8 and 14, Morton has turned in four straight quality starts. During that stretch, his season ERA has dropped from 5.29 to 3.14 through 43 innings. Morton is currently in line for a home matchup against the Cubs next week.

Woo was removed from his start Friday against Oakland due to an apparent injury, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Woo appeared to be reluctant to come out of the game, but the Mariners' training staff saw something they didn't like and decided to pull the right-hander. In his first start of the season after working his way back from elbow inflammation, Woo pitched 4.1 scoreless innings and struck out three batters while walking one. It remains unknown if his latest injury is related to his elbow, but clarification should come relatively soon.

Rogers (0-6) yielded five runs (four earned) on nine hits and two walks over 3.1 innings Friday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Phillies.

Rogers gave up two runs in the first three frames before the Phillies piled on three more in the fourth inning. He's been blasted for 12 earned runs in just 5.2 innings over his last two outings, inflating his ERA from 4.31 to 6.57 in the process. Rogers has yet to complete six innings in any start this year and owns a lackluster 31:17 K:BB through 37 frames. His next outing is currently projected to come in Detroit next week.

Mize did not factor into the decision Friday against the Astros, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out two.

Mize shut out Houston through five innings before serving up a Kyle Tucker solo homer to lead off the sixth. While the Tigers' bullpen couldn't hang onto the lead, it was an impressive outing from Mize after he allowed five runs in a loss to the Yankees in his last start. Overall, the 27-year-old right-hander is 1-1 with a 3.58 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 26:9 K:BB across 37.2 innings this season. Mize is currently lined up for a home matchup with the Marlins in his next start.

Suarez (7-0) allowed three hits and two walks over seven shutout frames Friday, striking out nine while earning a win over the Marlins.

It was another terrific outing for Suarez, who took advantage of a soft matchup against Miami by turning in his fourth scoreless outing of the year. He punched out a season-high nine batters and let only two Marlins get into scoring position. Suarez has tossed seven consecutive quality starts, earning a win in each. He lowered his ERA to 1.50 with a 55:8 K:BB through 54 frames. Suarez is currently in line for a home matchup with the Mets next week.

Valdez (2-1) earned the win Friday over the Tigers, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out four.

Valdez allowed two runs on a Matt Vierling double in the third inning before blanking Detroit over his final four frames en route to his second victory of the year. It's an encouraging bounce-back effort from Valdez, who allowed five runs in a loss to Seattle in his previous start. The left-hander lowered his ERA to 3.64 with a 1.35 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB across five starts (29.2 innings). Valdez, who has walked only one batter over his past three starts, is currently scheduled for a home matchup with the A's in his next outing.

The Royals reinstated Marsh (elbow) from the 15-day injured list Friday.

Marsh made his lone rehab start with Triple-A Omaha on May 5, striking out six and giving up one hit and one walk over four shutout innings while throwing 53 pitches. To make room for Marsh, the Royals optioned southpaw Daniel Lynch to Triple-A Omaha. Marsh will take the mound and start in Friday's series opener against the Angels.

Estes will be recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas to start Saturday's game against the Mariners, Martin Gallegos of MLB.comreports.

Estes has posted a 6.04 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across 28.1 innings in Triple-A, but he will come up from the minors to make his season debut with Oakland nonetheless. The 22-year-old right-hander gave up eight earned runs in 10 major-league innings last season, and he isn't a recommended streaming option for Saturday.

The Mariners reinstated Woo (elbow) from the 15-day injured list prior to his start Friday versus Oakland.

Woo will be making his season debut after missing the first month-plus of the season due to right elbow inflammation. The 24-year-old was spectacular during his rehab assignment, striking out 17 batters in 11.1 scoreless innings, and he'll get a chance to stay hot against a below-average Athletics lineup. Tyson Miller was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Musgrove (elbow) played catch Friday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Friday marks the first time Musgrove has played catch since he landed on the injured list Sunday due to right elbow inflammation. The 31-year-old righty said everything looked good after receiving an MRI, and he still expects to return from the injured list when eligible next Friday. He owns a 6.37 ERA and 1.51 WHIP across 41 innings this season.
