Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Game 2 of a twin bill against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Bogaerts went 0-for-4 in the matinee but bounced back with a fifth-inning solo homer for the Padres' only run in Game 2. The long ball was just his third in 35 games since the All-Star break, though the shortstop has otherwise hit well over that stretch, slashing .292/.338/.401 with seven RBI, 12 runs and four thefts. Bogaerts has belted a modest 13 home runs this season, with four of them coming over his first 12 contests.

Adames went 4-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's victory over the Rangers.

Adames drove home Carlos Santana with a single in the top of the third to put the Brewers up 2-0 and then led off the sixth with a solo homer to extend the lead. The shortstop reached base five times in the contest while tallying four hits for just the second time this season. Adames has now recorded at least three hits in back-to-back games, raising his batting average to .213 in the process.

Turner went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Saturday's 12-3 win over the Nationals.

The shortstop didn't just go yard twice against the team he made his big-league debut with in 2015, Turner went yard twice in the same inning against the same pitcher, bookending the Phillies' eight-run eruption in the eighth inning with blasts to left field off Cory Abbott. Turner's bat has come alive in August, and over the last 14 games he's slashing .370/.414/.704 with six doubles, four homers, one steal, nine runs and 12 RBI.

De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Toronto.

De La Cruz was involved in the game's most electrifying play. His triple, which knocked in Matt McLain, turned into a Little League home run when Cavan Biggio's throw to the infield was ruled an error. De La Cruz went from home to home in 15.30 seconds, per Allie Kaylor of MLB.com, the quickest by a Red in the Statcast era (since 2015) and third fastest in MLB this season. He has multiple hits in three of seven games and five RBI since dropping to third in the order.

Marte entered as a pinch runner and stole third base in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Blue Jays.

Marte had more than 20 steals each of the last two seasons in the minors. He was called up earlier in the day and is expected to serve as Cincinnati's primary third baseman, per Rob Terranova of MLB.com, while Spencer Steer takes on more work in left field. While it may seem crowded on the roster, injuries to Jake Fraley (toe) and Jonathan India (foot) mean there will be opportunities for Marte.

Lindor went 4-for-5 with one double, one RBI, three runs scored and one steal in Saturday's 13-2 victory over the Cardinals.

Lindor extended his hit streak to six games Saturday, tallying four hits and scoring thrice. One of his three runs came in the first inning when he stole home on Miles Mikolas. Over his last 19 appearances, Lindor is batting 28-for-74 (.378) with 17 runs scored, 13 RBI and four stolen bases.

Crawford isn't in the Giants' lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

It's been a tough season for Crawford so far, highlighted by the fact that he is just 1-for-28 since Aug. 5. Johan Camargo will fill in Saturday and bat eighth as the Giants search for more production at shortstop.

The Giants recalled Schmitt from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Schmitt will offer the Giants extra depth in the infield while Ross Stripling (back) and Ryan Walker (paternity) are both out. The 24-year-old was optioned to Triple-A on Aug. 6 and has since slashed .311/.354/.533 with six RBI over 48 plate appearances.

Williams isn't in the Pirates' lineup Saturday against the Twins, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

After collecting a base hit in each of his last two games, Williams will take a seat Saturday against Sonny Gray and the Twins. Liover Peguero will take over at shortstop and bat eighth.

Rojas isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader with the Marlins, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

After slugging two homers across his last four games, Rojas will catch a breather for the first game of Saturday's activities. Enrique Hernandez will start at shortstop in Rojas' place in Game 1, and the 34-year-old could resume his starting duties in the nightcap.
