Swanson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts in a 4-0 win over the Padres on Friday.

Swanson took San Diego starter Reiss Knehr deep to right in the second inning to give Atlanta an early 3-0 lead that proved to be all the support Max Fried needed. The homer was the 27-year-old's first since Sept. 1, as he's been slumping lately with a 3-for-25 mark over his last seven games.

Crawford went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored Friday in a 7-2 win over the Rockies.

Crawford continued his career-best campaign at the plate, establishing a new high with 22 homers and tying his career-high mark with 84 RBI. The shortstop also pushed his average to .303 with the trio of hits -- coming into 2021, he had never hit higher than .275 over a season. Crawford has come on strong down the stretch, notching four multi-hit performances over his past seven games.

Edman went 3-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in an 8-5 win over the Cubs in the first game of Friday's doubleheader.

The 26-year-old was productive in the matinee. He notched his 28th steal in 33 attempts while adding his fifth multi-hit effort in 10 games. Edman has a less enjoyable nightcap, going 0-for-5 in that contest. Overall, the second baseman has a .265/.311/.390 slash line with 10 home runs, 54 RBI, 88 runs scored and 41 doubles through 663 plate appearances as St. Louis' main leadoff hitter.

Camargo was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to serve as the 29th man in Friday's nightcap against the Padres.

Camargo has been in the minors since mid-July, but he'll rejoin the major-league roster to serve as depth in the second game of Friday's twin bill. He's appeared in just 15 big-league games this year and has gone 0-for-16 with a run, two walks and six strikeouts.

Turner went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run, an RBI and a stolen base in a 7-5 victory versus the Rockies on Thursday.

Turner singled three times in the contest, the most important of which was a two-out base knock in the top of the ninth inning that plated the tying run. The speedy infielder has slashed .375/.457/.475 with a home run, four RBI, seven runs and five stolen bases during his current 10-game hitting streak. On the season, he ranks first in the National League with 31 steals and second with a .321 batting average.

Ahmed (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers.

This marks seven consecutive omissions from the lineup as Ahmed battles right shoulder soreness. The team must expect him back in action shortly, seeing as though they haven't placed him on the injured list. Josh Rojas is leading off as the shortstop Friday.

Preciado concluded the rookie-level Arizona Complex League season with a .333/.383/.511 slash line, three homers, seven steals, 25 RBI and 28 runs in 34 games.

That's quite the productive campaign, especially considering that Preciado only turned 18 in May. He couldn't quite keep up the blistering pace he started on, but he still got wood on the ball with an amazing level of consistency -- he only went hitless eight times in those 34 contests. With his 6-foot-4 frame, more power production will come, though his speed may fade as he continues developing physically. Preciado will likely start 2022 in Low-A, and if he can sustain this sort of productivity, he could find himself in the top-10 prospect conversation before too long. He's still several years off from the majors, though.

Seager went 4-for-5 with two RBI on Thursday against the Rockies.

Seager delivered a two-run single in the second inning to put the Dodgers up 3-0. He has collected at least one hit in eight of his last 10 starts, four of which have been multi-hit efforts. He's also racked up two home runs, seven RBI and five runs scored in that span. For the season, Seager is now hitting .289/.381/.456 across 370 plate appearances.

Ahmed (shoulder) remains on the bench for Thursday's game against Atlanta.

Ahmed finds himself on the bench for the sixth straight game as he continues to deal with a sore right shoulder. Josh Rojas will again shift to shortstop as his absence continues.
