Trevor Story SS | BOS
Red Sox's Trevor Story: Mashes 11th homer
Story went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.
The 29-year-old infielder took Beau Brieske deep in the fourth inning, extending his current hitting streak to five games. Story has run hot and cold all season, and while he may be heating up again now, he's still slashing just .229/.289/.400 through 18 games in June with two of his 11 homers on the season.

Oneil Cruz CF | PIT
Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Swipes first bag in majors
Cruz went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Cubs.
The Pirates' top prospect wasn't particularly successful on the basepaths for Triple-A Indianapolis prior to his promotion, stealing 11 bases on 17 attempts in 55 games, but Cruz is now 1-for-1 in the majors. The 23-year-old has the athleticism to be a power-speed threat, but the development of his hit tool will ultimately determine how much of a fantasy impact he can make. Three hits in nine at-bats with only one strikeout through his first two MLB games is a strong start.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Done for the year
Ahmed underwent shoulder surgery June 15 and will miss the remainder of the season, Nick Piecoro of Arizona Republic reports.
Ahmed has been dealing with shoulder issues since late in the 2021 season but put off surgery as long as possible. Non-invasive treatments provided ephemeral relief, so the shortstop eventually agreed to undergo surgery. Geraldo Perdomo will hold down shortstop for the rest of the season.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Adds another theft
Berti went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base during Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Rockies.
The 32-year-old spent most of May on the COVID-19 injured list, and he has 16 stolen bases in as many attempts across 22 games since returning from the shelf. He's operated as Miami's primary third baseman with Joey Wendle (hamstring) and Brian Anderson (back) sidelined, but even once they return, Berti should continue to see regular action in a utility role given his .766 OPS and production on the basepaths.

Bobby Witt SS | KC
Royals' Bobby Witt: First career multi-homer game
Witt went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs, a double, four RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 12-11 extra-innings win over the Angels.
Normally, a two-homer game from a big-name rookie would be the headline, but Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani put on an ever bigger show with a pair of long balls and eight RBI. Nonetheless, this was one of the best games of Witt's young career, and it ended a seven-game homer drought. The 22-year-old rookie is up to 10 homers, 36 RBI, 38 runs scored, 10 stolen bases and 16 doubles through 65 contests while adding a .243/.288/.458 slash line.

Nick Allen SS | HOU
Athletics' Nick Allen: Homers in return to majors
Allen went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Mariners.
Allen provided the Athletics' only runs with his seventh-inning blast off Mariners starter Marco Gonzales. It was Allen's first big-league game since May 21, and the homer was his first career blast in the majors. He's still batting just .192 with two RBI and three runs scored through 29 plate appearances. A natural shortstop, Allen could challenge the struggling Elvis Andrus for playing time at that position, or he could see the short side of a platoon with Tony Kemp at second base.

Bo Bichette 3B | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Steals fifth bag
Bichette went 1-for-5 with a run, an RBI, a walk and a stolen base in a 7-6 loss Tuesday against the White Sox.
Bichette gave the Blue Jays a 3-2 lead with his RBI single in the eighth inning. He served as the automatic runner in the 10th and came around to score. Tuesday marked the fourth consecutive game in which he struck out at least twice. His 24.5 percent strikeout rate is the worst of his career and a contributing factor to his struggles through the first two and a half months of 2022.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Heading for precautionary MRI
Crawford will undergo a precautionary MRI after leaving Tuesday's game against Atlanta with left knee contusion, though he isn't expected to require a trip to the injured list, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
The 35-year-old sustained the injury while making an awkward slide at home plate, but it appears he's not dealing with a significant injury. Crawford may be sidelined for a day or two but should return to action soon, barring some unexpected results from the MRI.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Tigers' Javier Baez: Stays locked in Tuesday
Baez went 3-for-5 with a triple, a solo home run and two runs scored in Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox.
It's been a rough first season in Detroit for Baez, who's batting just .209 overall with a .599 OPS. The shortstop has looked better lately, however, as he's now riding a six-game hitting streak. During that time, Baez is batting .375 with six extra-base hits and two stolen bases. Fantasy managers who have stayed patient might be in store for some sustained success from the 29-year-old.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Nursing bruised knee
Crawford was diagnosed with a left knee contusion after leaving Tuesday's game against Atlanta, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
Crawford had an awkward slide at home plate during the top of the fourth inning and left the field accompanied by the training staff. The 35-year-old appears to have avoided a serious injury, but it remains to be seen if he'll be forced to miss any time.
