  • Trea Turner SS | PHI

Dodgers' Trea Turner: Homers against former team

Turner went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk Tuesday in a 9-4 victory versus the Nationals.

Facing the team with which he won a ring in 2019, Turner teed off with a two-run shot to center field in the first inning. The long ball was his third of the campaign and extended his hitting streak to 16 games. Over that stretch, Turner is slashing .349/.425/.540 with two homers, six doubles, 14 RBI, eight runs and four stolen bases.

  • Tim Anderson 2B | LAA

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Another multi-hit game

Anderson went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI on Tuesday against Boston.

Anderson was one of the few bright spots for the White Sox in a blowout loss. He doubled to lead off the fourth frame and came around to score on a Jose Abreu home run. One inning later, he delivered an RBI knock of his own. Since May 1, Anderson has notched 11 multi-hit performances across 19 starts. In that span, he has maintained a .407 average with 12 RBI, 12 runs scored and four stolen bases.

  • Jorge Mateo SS | ATL

Orioles' Jorge Mateo: Nabs 12th steal

Mateo went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Yankees.

The pilfer moved Mateo into a tie with rookie Julio Rodriguez for the major-league lead in steals with 12. Mateo hasn't made much of a fantasy impact this season otherwise, slashing .213/.252/.324 through 39 games with two homers, nine RBI and 13 runs while mainly hitting toward the bottom of a lackluster Baltimore lineup.

  • Mets' Francisco Lindor: Homers, drives in six

Lindor went 2-for-6 with a home run, triple, two runs and six RBI in a 13-12 loss to San Francisco on Tuesday.

Lindor got going late with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning, a two-run homer in the seventh and a bases-clearing triple followed by a run in a seven-run eighth. It was the 28-year-old's third multi-hit outing in his last six and his first with multiple extra-base hits since a two-homer game April 15. The excellent performance raises Lindor's slash line to .244/.333/.419 with seven home runs, 30 runs and 32 RBI.

  • Rays' Wander Franco: Hitless in return

Franco went 0-for-4 Tuesday against the Marlins.

Franco was in the lineup after missing two games due to a quadriceps injury. He was hitless and grounded out in all four of his plate appearances. More concerning is the fact that Franco is still dealing with discomfort and essentially remains day-to-day, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

  • Trevor Story SS | BOS

Red Sox's Trevor Story: Continues torrid stretch Tuesday

Story went 2-for-6 with a three-run home run, two runs and two RBI in Tuesday's victory over the White Sox.

Story launched a three-run home run off Dylan Cease in the first inning and later added an RBI single in the fifth frame before coming around to score on a Christian Vazquez long ball. The homer was his eighth of the year and he has now gone deep in back-back contests and four out of five games. Over that stretch, the shortstop has gone 8-for-21 with six long balls, nine runs, 17 RBI and a stolen base. After a slow start to the season, Story is now up to a .231 average with eight homers, 33 RBI, 23 runs and five stolen bases over 143 at-bats in 37 games in his first season with Boston.

  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Brewers' Willy Adames: Won't return this weekend

Adames (ankle) participated in batting practice and fielded grounders Tuesday but won't be activated during the upcoming four-game series in St. Louis, which begins Thursday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The 26-year-old recently said he was optimistic about being activated from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Thursday, but he'll be sidelined at least a few more days as he returns from a sprained left ankle. The fact Adames continues to ramp up his baseball activities is an encouraging sign, so he could be back for Monday's series opener against the Cubs.

  • Rays' Wander Franco: May need more days off

Franco is still considered somewhat day-to-day with a quadriceps issue despite the fact the he's in the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Franco is in the lineup Tuesday after missing the last two games, but it sounds as though the Rays expect to keep managing the issue going forward. Expect a few more off days for the young shortstop than normal over the next week or so, but a trip to the injured list seems unlikely given that Franco was cleared to start Tuesday's contest.

  • Miguel Rojas 2B | LAD

Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Still sidelined with calf issue

Rojas (calf) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game in Tampa, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The Marlins will be without both of their preferred starters in the middle infield, as Jazz Chisholm (hamstring) joins Rojas on the bench. Erik Gonzalez will hit eighth and check in at shortstop for Rojas, who is out for a second straight game due to a sore left calf.

  • Rays' Wander Franco: Back in action

Franco (quadriceps) will bat second and play shortstop Tuesday against the Marlins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Franco hurt his right quadriceps Friday against the Orioles and didn't start Saturday or Sunday, though he did appear off the bench in the series finale. He's ready to be a full participant following Monday's scheduled off day and will look to dig himself out of a slump which has seen him go 2-for-35 at the plate over his last 10 games.
