Wendle (wrist) was evaluated by team doctors Monday and given clearance to move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Durham, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports. "Everything is feeling really good," Wendle said. "It's just a matter of getting some at-bats and making sure when I come back I'm productive and ready to go."

Wendle went 1-for-4 in each of his two games at High-A Charlotte over this past weekend, playing a full nine innings both at third base and second base. The utility man is hopeful of only needing a "handful" of games at Durham before being deemed ready for activation.

Correa (back) is being considered day-to-day after leaving Monday's game against Detroit due to back discomfort, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

After the contest, Correa told skipper AJ Hinch that he couldn't get his back loose prior to first pitch, so it doesn't appear that the shortstop suffered the injury during Monday's clash. His status for the remainder of the series is in question at this point.

Correa was removed from Monday's game against Detroit due to back discomfort, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The severity of Correa's injury is unclear at this time, though the team figures to provide an update on the shortstop's status after the contest. He was replaced at shortstop by Jack Mayfield.

Ahmed was named the National League Player of the Week, Thomas Harrigan of MLB.com reports.

Ahmed slashed .423/.464/1.038 with four home runs, a triple, two doubles and 11 RBI in seven games last week. The 29-year-old shortstop is up to 16 homers in 123 games, tying the number of long balls he hit last year in 30 more games played.

Downs was promoted to Double-A Tulsa on Monday, Future Dodgers reports.

He hit .269/.354/.507 (134 wRC+) with 19 home runs and 23 steals with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, and really turned it on over the past three-plus months. Downs is hitting .301 with a 160 wRC+ since May 10. He is a luxury for a team that already has Corey Seager and Gavin Lux in house, but Downs certainly looks like he has a chance to be an everyday player on a good team.

Mondesi (shoulder) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Omaha, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.

Sidelined for the past month with a left shoulder subluxation, Mondesi was recently cleared for full baseball activities and appears to have responded well to his initial workouts. Manager Ned Yost previously suggested that the Royals expected the shortstop back from the 10-day injured list in early September, but Mondesi's ability to begin his rehab early this week may leave a late-August return on the table. The Royals will likely assess how Mondesi looks during his first few rehab games before pinpointing a more definitive target date for his return.

Arcia went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 16-8 loss to the Nationals.

Arcia connected on his 14th long ball of the season -- and second of the series -- in the ninth inning, making the final outcome more respectable in a game the Nationals controlled wire to wire. The 25-year-old may occasionally cede starts to Hernan Perez versus left-handed pitching, but he still looks like the Brewers' primary shortstop despite being in the midst of a second straight disappointing campaign.

Wendle played full games in the field in both of the Stone Crabs' contests over the weekend, as he'd also put in nine innings at third base Saturday. The pair of successful outings serve as a solid launching pad for what's expected to be the final leg of Wendle's rehab assignment beginning Tuesday at Triple-A Durham.

Mateo is 4-for-15 with a double, a triple, two walks and four runs in the four games he's played for Triple-A Las Vegas since returning from a stay on the 7-day minor-league injured list due to ankle soreness.

The promising shortstop appears to be fully over the ankle issues that put a pause in his stellar season. Even after an 0-for-4 afternoon versus Albuquerque on Sunday -- his first hitless game since returning -- Mateo is slashing .294/.335/.518 across 104 games with the Aviators this season.

Lindor went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in an 8-4 victory against the Yankees on Sunday.

The 25-year-old saw his average dip below .300, but he hit his first homer since Aug. 4. If Lindor can catch fire again in the power category, he could still reach the 30-homer plateau. He's done that each of the last two years, but with his early-season injury during 2019, it would be an even greater accomplishment this summer. He is batting .299 with 21 home runs, 53 RBI, 73 runs and 18 steals in 442 at-bats this season.
