Baez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during a 3-1 victory against the Cardinals on Friday.

The presumption with Baez has always been that once he cut down on his strikeouts, he could be a .300 hitter. This season, Baez has seen his strikeout rate increase to 30.9 percent, yet he's still batting a career-high .306. That's due to a .396 BABIP, which is more than 50 points higher than his career norm. More than likely, Baez won't be able to maintain that high of a BABIP, but for now, owners are enjoying both average and power from him. He is slashing .306/.347/.584 with 16 home runs, 42 RBI and 42 runs in 262 plate appearances this season.

Crawford (ankle) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Modesto on Monday or Tuesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Crawford is only expected to need a handful of games in the minors before being deemed ready for activation. If all goes well for him with Modesto in the earlier part of the week, there's a chance Crawford is activated by next weekend's series against the Athletics.

Bichette (hand) began a rehab assignment with High-A Dunedin on Friday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Bichette entered the starting lineup for the High-A club at shortstop and appears to be nearing a return from the shelf after breaking his left hand near the end of April. While he'll initially return to Triple-A Buffalo once he's activated from the minor-league IL, it's certainly possible that he could make his big-league debut shortly afterwards.

Wendle (wrist) will move his rehab up to Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Wendle has been working his way back from a fractured wrist suffered in late April. He was initially given a 6-to-8 week timeline and is now seven weeks into that period, so he appears to be lining up to return near the back end of that window.

Mauricio went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a solo home run and two additional runs scored for Low-A Columbia on Thursday.

The Mets' No. 1 fantasy prospect following the graduation of Pete Alonso, Mauricio has put together a nine-game hitting streak and hit safely in 14 of his last 16, slashing .353/.366/.544 over that stretch with seven doubles, two homers and a steal. He still isn't showing much patience, posting a 1:10 BB:K during those 16 games, but given that he won't turn 19 until next April, his ability to barrel the ball consistently at such a young age gives him sky-high upside.

Wendle (wrist) went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in High-A Charlotte's loss to Dunedin on Thursday.

Wendle's first taste of minor-league game action could hardly have gone better, as the versatile infielder was in fine form. The 29-year-old's stint on the injured list is now well past a month, so he's slated to log several rehab games before being deemed ready for activation. However, if Thursday's performance proves to be the norm, Wendle may not have to wait much longer to return to the big-league club.

DeJong with 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Reds.

DeJong broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh inning with a two-run homer to left field. The 25-year-old shortstop has put together a solid .275/.372/.482 slash line with nine home runs and 28 RBI on the season over 60 games.

Adames went went 2-for-5 with a solo home run Thursday against the Tigers.

Adames took Daniel Stumpf deep in the eighth inning to record his sixth homer of the season. He's riding a hitting streak of eight games, four of which have been multi-hit efforts. Adames entered May hitting just .200 but has improved his line to .256/.321/.402 across 219 plate appearances for the campaign.

Lindor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a stolen base and three runs Wednesday in the Indians' 9-7 win over the Twins.

Lindor's delayed start to the season due to ankle and calf injuries suffered in the spring has seemingly had no impact on his productivity since he returned from the 10-day injured list in late April. After his third straight multi-hit performance, Lindor's OPS now rests at .938, 67 points better than the career-high mark he posted in 2018. He's also been efficient on the basepaths, nabbing seven steals in eight attempts.

Story went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, three runs and an RBI in Wednesday's 9-8 loss to the Cubs.

Story has now turned in multi-hit efforts in four of his last six starts, lifting his season batting average to what would be a career-high .293. He'll look to keep rolling in the series finale Thursday, as he'll start at shortstop and bat second.
