Arcia is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Arcia will head to the bench after starting the last five games and slashing .176/.222/.235 over those contests. Hernan Perez will step into the lineup at shortstop in place of Arcia, hitting fifth.

Ahmed is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Ahmed will get what looks to be a routine day off following a string of 15 consecutive starts during which he hit just .140/.214/.200. Ketel Marte will slide over to cover shortstop in his stead, allowing Daniel Descalso to pick up a start at the keystone.

Correa (back) feels ready to play Wednesday against the Blue Jays after taking 30-to-40 swings Tuesday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

Correa will miss his sixth straight game Tuesday while resting a sore back. He may return as the designated hitter for his first game back in the lineup.

Adames (illness) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Adames missed a pair of starts due to illness. He was able to draw a walk as a pinch hitter Monday and will be a full participant Tuesday, batting eighth and playing shortstop.

Story (elbow) went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and a run Monday in the Rockies' 10-1 win over the Phillies.

After missing the previous five games with a sore right elbow, Story showed no signs of the injury affecting him in his return to the lineup. According to Thomas Harding of MLB.com, both of Story's two-baggers had exit velocities exceeding 108 miles per hour. His second double of the night gave him 80 extra-base hits on the season, making him only the fourth National League shortstop in history to reach that benchmark. With his health seemingly not much of a question mark any longer, Story should make for an elite fantasy option over the final week of the season with six more games on tap at Coors Field and the Rockies incentivized to keep all their regulars in the lineup with a playoff spot still at stake.

Reyes went 2-for-5 with a solo homer in a 5-1 win over the Cubs on Monday.

He continues to bolster his chances of making the team's Opening Day roster in 2019, showing an ability to play both third base and in the outfield. The under-the-radar utilityman could even see steady time in right field with Gregory Polanco (shoulder) sidelined. He's slashing .333/.381/.513 in 42 September plate appearances.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 6-2 win over the Orioles.

Bogaerts was back in the lineup one day after giving the team a scare when he felt discomfort in his left shoulder following a swing. He hit cleanup Monday, behind Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi and J.D. Martinez, which gives him the best possible opportunity to come up with runners on base. Bogaerts is at 96 RBI, and manager Alex Cora wants to give him an opportunity to reach 100.

Gordon went 1-for-2 with a walk and two-run home run Monday against the Athletics.

Gordon took Daniel Mengden deep in the sixth inning to briefly tie the game. It was his fourth home run of the season and second in as many starts. However, Gordon was also caught stealing, keeping his stolen base total at 30 for the season, exactly half of what he produced in 2017.

Correa (back) took batting practice and ran Monday but is unlikely to return Tuesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa has missed four games while nursing a sore back and appears likely to miss at least two more. The Astros have little reason to rush him back with the division nearly clinched, though they'll likely want to get him some at-bats before the playoffs start.
