Owings was removed from Thursday's game after colliding with A.J. Pollock in the outfield, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

The two collided on a Joe Panik line drive and Owings took the brunt of the impact, getting a knee to his forehead area. Jarrod Dyson will take over for Owings for the rest of Thursday's game and there should be more information on Owings' exact injury before first pitch Friday.

Bogaerts (ankle) participated in agility drills prior to Boston's game against the Angels on Thursday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

This marks the third straight day that Bogaerts has worked out on the field, as he continues to work back a cracked bone in his left ankle. He's currently right in the middle of his original 10-to-14 day timetable, but the club has yet to pinpoint a specific return date for the 25-year-old. Brock Holt and Tzu-Wei Lin will keep filling in at shortstop in his absence.

Ahmed went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored Wednesday in the Diamondbacks' 4-3 loss to the Giants in 10 innings.

The double is already Ahmed's sixth extra-base hit in 14 games this season, boosting his slugging percentage to a career-best .438. However, much of that power production came in the Diamondbacks' first four games of the season, with the shortstop having largely struggled at the dish ever since returning from a brief absence earlier this month due to an illness. Over his past 10 starts, Ahmed has managed only three hits in 31 at-bats (.097 average), which has dimmed the luster of his hot start to the campaign.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in a 7-1 loss to the Astros on Wednesday.

Gordon was the only Mariners player with a multi-hit effort on a night when they were stymied by Gerrit Cole and a pair of relievers. The dynamic leadoff man has been as productive as advertised, having hit safely in all but one game this season and going a perfect 8-for-8 in the stolen-base department.

Seager went 4-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 13-4 drubbing of the Padres.

Seager's four-hit day raised his batting average over 40 points, but he still owns a disappointing .254/.321/.338 slash line after enduring a slow start due to an elbow injury. It is still early, and the slugging shortstop has posted high-level totals for his position over the past couple of seasons. Seager's .288 BABIP is well below his .352 career mark, and he is making strong contact (55.0% medium-hit rate and 35.0% hard-hit rate) while striking out less than usual (14.1% K%), so better days at the plate are likely ahead for the 23-year-old.

Bogaerts continues to work his way from a cracked bone in his left ankle. The shortstop was able to take batting practice for the second straight day, and manager Alex Cora said he's making "great" progress, according to Logan Mullen of NESN.com. That said, it's still unclear when he'll be ready to return at this point. Bogaerts is currently 10 days into his initial 10-14 day estimated return timetable.

Camargo (oblique) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday.

Camargo has been battling an oblique injury all season, but he's finally ready to join the Braves after having his initial return date pushed back multiple times. The 24-year-old appeared in 10 minor-league rehab games with Triple-A Gwinnett and High-A Modesto, going 11-for-41 (.268) with three homers. That included a 3-for-5 showing Wednesday. While he'll be in uniform for the Braves, Ryan Flaherty will remain in the lineup as the team's starting third baseman. It's unclear how the Braves initially plan to deploy Camargo, as they may ultimately choose to ease him back into action with Flaherty playing well as the stand-in third baseman.

Owings is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Giants.

This marks Owings' second consecutive absence, though he started six in a row before taking a seat Tuesday. The utility man holds a .280 batting average on the season, but he has collected just three hits in his last six games played. The Diamondbacks will deploy Jarrod Dyson in right field for Wednesday's matchup.

Wendle is not in the lineup against the Rangers on Wednesday.

Wendle will sit for the third straight game as Cole Hamels takes the mound for Texas. Daniel Robertson will get another start at the keystone and bat second. Over 15 appearances this season, Wendle is hitting .244/.360/.439 with one home run, five RBI and one stolen base.

Turner went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Mets.

Turner's first double came off Mets starter Zack Wheeler in the first, and the second off reliever Gerson Bautista in the ninth. The multi-hit showing brings Turner's season average up to .250, and the stolen base brings his total to eight (in eight attempts). The young shortstop has played in all 18 games for the Nationals, and his newfound ability to take walks (15 walks already this year) makes him an even safer bet for stolen bases and runs scored.
