  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Brewers' Willy Adames: Homers, swipes two bags

Adames went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Rockies.

Adames got the scoring started Saturday with a first-inning solo home run, his 30th home run of the season. This is his second season with 30 or more homers after also doing it in 2022. Adames became the first Brewers player with 30 home runs and 100 RBI in a season since 2018, when both Christian Yelich and Jesus Aguilar did it. The two stolen bases were a surprise; it's just the second time in his career he's recorded multiple steals in a game, and it was the seventh time he's recorded a homer and a steal in the same game.

  • Taylor Walls 3B | TB

Rays' Taylor Walls: Fills stat sheet in win

Walls went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, two RBI, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Orioles.

Walls had his best game of the season Saturday, homering for the first time this year in the third inning and swiping his 13th bag in the eighth. The shortstop has produced on just six hits in his past 10 games, scoring six times while driving in seven runs. On the season, he is hitting just .178 with 12 RBI and 23 runs scored across 212 plate appearances.

  • Willi Castro LF | COL

Twins' Willi Castro: Idle again Saturday

Castro is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.

Castro is out of the lineup for a second consecutive game, marking his first back-to-back absences from the starting lineup since April. Though there haven't been any reports of an injury, fantasy managers should keep an eye on Castro's availability.

  • Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL

Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Not yet throwing at 100 percent

Kim (shoulder) has resumed throwing across the diamond, but he's not yet doing so at 100 percent, per MLB.com.

Kim has made steady progress in recent days, as he began throwing across the diamond Wednesday and has been hitting at full capacity while taking batting practice with the team. It appears that being able to unleash throws from his position at full capacity will be the infielder's final obstacle to clear, and he may be able to return to the big club without needing a rehab assignment. Kim last saw game action Aug. 18, so his absence is approaching the three-week mark.

  • Trevor Story SS | BOS

Red Sox's Trevor Story: Officially activated

Story (shoulder) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Saturday, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Story draws the start at shortstop and will bat seventh for the Red Sox on Saturday, marking the 31-year-old's first MLB showing since suffering a dislocated shoulder in early April. Story appeared in four rehab games prior to being activated and notched four hits in his final minor-league outing.

  • Javier Sanoja SS | MIA

Marlins' Javier Sanoja: Joins big-league club

The Marlins selected Sanoja's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday.

Since earning a promotion to Triple-A in late April, Sanoja has slashed .294/.356/.438 with six homers and 59 RBI across 492 plate appearances with the Jumbo Shrimp. The 22-year-old's performance has earned him his first MLB call-up, and his ability to play in both the infield and outfield will help as he attempts to work his way into the starting lineup.

  • Jose Caballero 2B | NYY

Rays' Jose Caballero: Getting Saturday off

Caballero isn't in the Rays' lineup Saturday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Caballero will get a breather Saturday after going 3-for-15 with an RBI and two runs scored through his first five games of September. His absence will allow Taylor Walls to draw a start at shortstop while batting eighth.

  • Trey Sweeney SS | DET

Tigers' Trey Sweeney: Idle versus southpaw

Sweeney isn't in Detroit's lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics.

With southpaw Brady Basso set to take the mound for the A's, the lefty-hitting Sweeney will step out of the starting nine Saturday. In his place, Zach McKinstry will pick up a start at shortstop and bat seventh.

  • Jacob Wilson SS | ATH

    Athletics' Jacob Wilson: Idle Saturday

Wilson isn't in the Athletics' lineup Saturday against the Tigers.

Wilson went 2-for-4 with an RBI during Friday's series opener, and he'll now grab a seat on the bench while Nick Allen starts at shortstop, batting eighth.

  • Max Schuemann 2B | NYY

Athletics' Max Schuemann: Not starting Saturday

Schuemann isn't in Oakland's lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers.

Schuemann will take a seat Saturday after going 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in Friday's series opener. His absence will move Tristan Gray to third base while Seth Brown covers first, allowing Daz Cameron to pick up a start in left field.
