Lindor went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to Atlanta.

He gave the Mets a 2-1 lead in the third inning by taking Bryce Elder deep. Lindor is flashing some power -- four of his 11 homers on the season have come in the last 10 games -- but little else is going right for him at the plate right now, as he's batting .154 (6-for-39) during that stretch to drag his OPS on the year down to a career-low .703.

Bichette went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Astros.

He tagged Rafael Montero for an insurance run in the eighth inning, giving Bichette 13 homers on the year and four in his last 11 games. The shortstop has been held hitless only twice in his last 17 contests, a stretch in which he's slashing an impressive .360/.368/.560.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Padres.

Crawford played the whole game at shortstop after missing Sunday's game with a bruised knee. The 28-year-old had opened June 0-for-7 over two games after ending May on a six-game hitting streak. He's slashing .244/.349/.345 with three home runs, 22 RBI, 31 runs scored and a stolen base through 57 contests overall.

Fletcher left Tuesday's game for Triple-A Salt Lake with hamstring tightness, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

There was some thought that Fletcher might have been pulled in anticipation of a return to the big-league club, but instead the shortstop exited with the hamstring injury. Fletcher should be considered day-to-day, and he would have to be added back to the 40-man roster if the Angels were to bring him back to the active roster this summer.

Chang (wrist/hand) resumed his rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Katie Morrison of The Springfield Republican reports.

Chang was pulled from his rehab assignment near the end of May after experiencing pain in the same wrist/hand he underwent surgery on in late April. The infielder will likely need a week's worth of games -- if not more -- but he could be back as a utility option for Boston around the middle of June.

Crawford (knee) is hitting leadoff and playing shortstop versus the Padres on Tuesday.

Crawford left Saturday's game versus the Rangers with a knee bruise, and he sat out Sunday's blowout loss against Texas. The shortstop is back at the top of the lineup for the first game of a two-game set against the Padres with Kolten Wong moving to second base and Jose Caballero getting the day off.

Neto isn't starting Tuesday against the Cubs, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Neto is slashing just .118/.167/.118 over the past week, so he'll sit out for the second time in three games. Luis Rengifo will take Neto's place at shortstop and bat ninth Tuesday.

Celestin suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain during an intersquad game Thursday and will be out for 6-to-8 weeks, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Celestin is considered one of the top young prospects in the Seattle system, and he was handed a $4.7 million signing bonus in the winter of 2023. The 17-year-old shortstop offers significant fantasy upside, but he's not expected to make an impact on an MLB roster until the latter part of the decade.

Schmitt will take a seat Tuesday versus the Rockies, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Schmitt will get a day off after he went 1-for-12 with a double and four strikeouts while starting all three games of the Giants' series with Baltimore. Veteran Brandon Crawford will replace him at shortstop and bat ninth in the series opener with Colorado.

The Angels optioned Soto to Double-A Rocket City on Tuesday.

Anthony Rendon (groin) has been activated from the injured list in a corresponding move. Soto, 22, went 2-for-9 with three walks and two strikeouts during his nearly three-week stay on the major-league roster.
