Swanson went 3-for-6 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Phillies.
Swanson knocked an RBI single in the second inning before drilling a two-run shot in the fourth. The 28-year-old shortstop is now slashing .281/.334/.445 with 54 extra-base hits and 92 RBI through 153 games this season. However, he's hitting .250 with 26 strikeouts in 22 contests this month.

Nationals' CJ Abrams: Three hits, two steals Sunday
Abrams went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in a 6-1 victory Sunday in Miami.
Abrams singled and stole second in the second and drove in a run with a single and came around to score in the eighth. He was credited with another stolen base in the fourth inning after a defensive miscommunication led to him stealing home. It was his second three-hit performance of his career and the first time he stole two bases in a big-league game. The 21-year-old has put together a strong September, producing a .307/.316/.427 slash line with seven extra-base hits and three stolen bases.

Mets' Francisco Lindor: Trio of hits, runs, RBI
Lindor went 3-for-5 with a double, three runs and three RBI in a 13-4 win against the Athletics on Sunday.
Lindor singled and scored in the third inning, doubled home two and scored in the fourth, and singled home another run before scoring in the eighth. The 28-year-old extended his hit streak to 11 games with his fifth multi-hit performance during the stretch and is slashing a robust .316/.353/.526 with 11 extra-base hits in 23 contests this month.

Rays' Wander Franco: Nursing hand issue
Franco was removed from Sunday's loss to the Blue Jays with a jammed left hand, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Franco was being examined by the training staff and was flexing his left hand in the dugout prior to being lifted for a pinch hitter during the eighth inning. Manager Kevin Cash indicated the young shortstop was removed as a precautionary measure since the Rays were already trailing 6-1. Tampa Bay has a scheduled day off Monday, so Franco will have an extra day to recover ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Cleveland.

Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Out of Sunday's lineup
Perdomo is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Perdomo started the past four games and will receive a day off after he went 5-for-17 with two RBI, two runs and a stolen base during that stretch. Sergio Alcantara will take over at shortstop and bat sixth.

Angels' David Fletcher: Taking swings
Fletcher (hand) has been able to resume taking swings, per the Associated Press.
Fletcher went on the 10-day injured Sept. 17 despite a CT scan on his hand coming back negative. He was struggling to swing the bat before going on the IL, but he appears to be doing better. Should Fletcher continue to make progress, he could return as early as Tuesday for a home series against Oakland.

Phillies' Johan Camargo: Jettisoned from 40-man roster
Camargo was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Sunday.
The 28-year-old was demoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in late July and has now been removed from Philadelphia's 40-man roster. Camargo appeared in 52 games for the Phillies this year and had a .237/.297/.316 slash line with three home runs and 15 RBI.

Allen is not in Sunday's lineup against the Mets, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Allen is hitting .233/.303/.233 with zero home runs and two steals over his last 10 games. Ernie Clement will start at shortstop and hit ninth.

Barrero is 6-for-44 with 22 strikeouts in his past 12 appearances and finds himself on the bench Sunday for the third time in Cincinnati's past four games. Kyle Farmer will shift to shortstop while Spencer Steer mans the hot corner.

Athletics' Nick Allen: Notches third steal Saturday
Allen went 1-for-4 with an RBI single and a stolen base in a win over the Mets on Saturday.
Allen extended the Athletics' lead to 8-4 with his eighth-inning knock and subsequently swiped second base, snapping a brief 0-for-12 funk in the process. The 23-year-old has been reasonably productive at the plate over the last two weeks, hitting safely eight times in a nine-game stretch at one point in the sample while also recording two of his three steals on the season.
