The Mariners selected Davila's contract from Double-A Arkansas on Saturday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports

Davila will make the jump to the majors directly from Double-A after giving up just two earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 10 batters across nine innings. He'll presumably take on a middle-relief role while with the Mariners and will be making his MLB debut if/when he gets into a game.

Rooker went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Friday's 8-5 loss to the Guardians.

Rooker got Thursday off after going 0-for-13 with five strikeouts and a walk in three games following his return from an oblique strain. The outfielder benefited from the reset, as he homered in his first at-bat Friday and added an RBI single in the seventh inning. Rooker is still batting just .136 with a .509 OPS, three homers, 11 RBI, six runs scored and two stolen bases over 68 plate appearances this season. That said, the slugger is due to see his rate stats improve, and he should be able to maintain a steady spot in the lineup as the Athletics' primary designated hitter.

Ginn (0-1) allowed five runs on five hits and five walks while striking out four over 4.1 innings to take the loss Friday versus the Guardians.

The five walks were a season high for Ginn, who threw 50 of 88 pitches for strikes. The right-hander experienced shoulder soreness in his previous start, but his workload Friday suggests he wasn't facing any limitations -- even if his performance hints that he perhaps isn't 100 percent. Across eight outings (five starts), he has a 4.30 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 23:14 K:BB through 29.1 innings. Ginn isn't likely to dazzle often on the mound, instead serving as a No. 4 or 5 starter. His next start is tentatively expected to come on the road in Philadelphia.

DeLauter went 4-for-4 with two doubles, one walk, two RBI and one run scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Athletics.

DeLauter's bat is running hot -- he's hit safely in eight of his last nine games, going 14-for-32 (.438) in that span. He hasn't hit a home run during that stretch, but he has three doubles, a triple and eight RBI. On the year, the outfield prospect is batting .286 with an .896 OPS, five homers, 20 RBI, 13 runs scored, eight doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over his first 30 regular-season games.

Hoskins went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a home run and three RBI in Friday's 8-5 win over the Athletics.

Hoskins' two-run two-bagger tied the game at 4-4 in the fifth inning, and he added a solo shot in the seventh that ended up being the decisive run. The first baseman had gone just 2-for-13 across six games since his last multi-hit performance. He's batting .219 with a .751 OPS, two homers, nine RBI, 13 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases over 90 plate appearances this season. Hoskins should be in the lineup against most southpaws while seeing part-time usage between first base and designated hitter against right-handers.

Smith struck out one over 1.1 perfect innings to earn the save in Friday's 8-5 win over the Athletics.

The Guardians had to dig deep in this one, but Smith was able to close it out as the sixth reliever to appear in the game. After a bumpy start to the season, Smith has settled in with just one run allowed over his last 6.1 innings, a span in which he has added a 7:1 K:BB. He's 8-for-10 on save chances this season while pitching to a 3.52 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 18:4 K:BB through 15.1 innings.

Cantillo allowed four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two over four innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Friday.

The southpaw got off to a rough start, giving up a two-run home run to Brent Rooker in the first inning. Things didn't get much better for Cantillo after that, and he departed the game after 69 pitches (40 strikes), falling short of the five-inning mark for the third time in seven outings this season. He's now allowed five homers over his last four games. Cantillo is at a 3.67 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 36:16 K:BB over 34.1 innings, showcasing strikeout upside and mid-rotation potential despite some occasional inconsistency. His next start is projected to come on the road versus the Royals.

Joe went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Royals.

Joe's homer was his first of the season. The 33-year-old has hit safely in his last four contests, going 4-for-11 in that span. He's filling a depth role for the Mariners with the ability to cover first base and both corner outfield spots, though the bulk of his playing time will come against left-handed pitchers. Joe has added three RBI, two runs scored, a double and one stolen base over 17 plate appearances this season.

Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Royals.

Arozarena had gone nine games without a long ball, though he had four doubles, a triple and two stolen bases in that span. The outfielder has been striking out a bit too much lately with 15 of them over his last 10 contests. Still, he's batting .288 with an .835 OPS, three homers, 12 RBI, 23 runs scored, seven stolen bases, nine doubles and one triple across 33 games on the year.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a pair of two-run home runs in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Royals.

Rodriguez doubled his homer total for the year with this performance, though it wasn't enough to get the Mariners a win. The outfielder has warmed up with six multi-hit efforts over his last 10 contests, a span that includes three of his four homers for the year. Rodriguez is batting .262 with a .733 OPS, 16 RBI, 16 runs scored, six doubles and three stolen bases over 33 games. He's usually been a slow starter during his career, so this power surge could be a sign he's about to fully break out.
