Larnach is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Samuel Basallo C | BAL
Orioles' Samuel Basallo: Absent from Baltimore lineup
Basallo (wrist) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.
Basallo pinch hit each of the last two days, but he will be out of the starting nine for a third straight day as he deals with discomfort in his left wrist brought about by a bony growth. Adley Rutschman (hamstring) is also out again Wednesday, leaving catching duties to Sam Huff and the designated hitter role to Tyler O'Neill.

Adley Rutschman C | BAL
Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Remains out of lineup
Rutschman (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Mariners.
Rutschman will miss out on a third straight start while he deals with tightness in his left hamstring, but he felt well enough to test out the injury by doing some pregame running on the field before rain began to fall at Camden Yards, per Jake Rill of MLB.com. The Orioles are considering the 28-year-old day-to-day, but he'll need to improve in a hurry in order to avoid a trip to the injured list. Sam Huff will start at catcher for the Orioles on Wednesday.

Chris Murphy RP | CHW
White Sox's Chris Murphy: Summoned to big leagues
The White Sox recalled Murphy from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.
He's taking the roster spot vacated by the injured Tyler Gilbert (shoulder). Murphy has given up seven runs with a 9:8 K:BB over 9.1 frames during his time in the Chicago bullpen this season. He'll likely be used in low-leverage spots while up with the White Sox.

Zach McKinstry 2B | DET
Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Making third straight start
McKinstry will start in center field and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Twins.
After earning a Silver Slugger Award as a utility player in 2025, McKinstry has noticed a big drop in production to begin the current season but has begun to show signs of life at the plate since the calendar flipped to June. Through his first five games on the month, McKinstry has gone 5-for-15 with a triple, four walks and four runs. He'll be rewarded with a third consecutive start and appears to have at least temporarily moved ahead of Matt Vierling and Wenceel Perez in the pecking order for one of two spots at the bottom of the Detroit lineup.

Wenceel Perez RF | DET
Tigers' Wenceel Perez: Sitting again Wednesday
Perez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.
Perez will head to the bench for the second day in a row while the Tigers roll out a starting outfield of Riley Greene, Zach McKinstry and Kerry Carpenter from left to right. After producing a .738 OPS over 100 games in 2025, Perez has taken a big step back this season, slashing just .176/.241/.333 across 166 plate appearances. Perez could be relegated to a part-time role until his bat begins to heat up.

Matt Vierling CF | DET
Tigers' Matt Vierling: Left out of starting nine
Vierling is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.
Vierling will head to the bench after having gone hitless in eight at-bats over his last three games, dropping his average to .208 through 188 plate appearances on the season. Zach McKinstry will get the nod in center field in place of Vierling on Wednesday.
