Gimenez (hamstring) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Gimenez will miss a second consecutive start Saturday after suffering a hamstring injury during Thursday's contest against the Rays. While he continues to recover, Ernie Clement will shift over to shortstop, giving Charles McAdoo a start at second base.

The Blue Jays optioned Schneider to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.

Just one day after joining the major-league roster, Schneider will be sent back to Triple-A to make room for Vladimir Guerrero (concussion), who returned from the injured list in a corresponding move. The 27-year-old Schneider has slashed just .142/.295/.274 across 140 plate appearances in the majors this season, but he boasts an .894 OPS at Buffalo.

The Blue Jays reinstated Guerrero (concussion) from the injured list Saturday.

Guerrero cleared concussion protocol Thursday, and after going 1-for-1 with a pair of walks, an RBI and a run scored during a tune-up game at Single-A, he'll return to the active roster ahead of Saturday's game against the Yankees. Davis Schneider was sent down to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Tigers.

Pasquantino crushed a center-cut cutter from Troy Melton, blasting it 420 feet over the right-field wall for a solo homer in the sixth inning. The first baseman has been hot since returning from right wrist soreness Monday, going 9-for-19 (.474) with two homers, three doubles, four RBI and five runs across five games. Overall, Pasquantino is slashing .247/.331/.381 with eight homers, 37 RBI, 39 runs and four stolen bases in 84 contests.

Isbel went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional RBI in Friday's 5-2 win over the Tigers.

Isbel connected on a solo homer in the fifth inning before adding an RBI double in the eighth frame. Since returning from a nearly two-month stint on the injured list due to a Grade 3 tear of his left plantar fascia, the center fielder is slashing .200/.229/.356 with two homers, eight RBI and six runs across 15 contests. Overall, Isbel is hitting .234/.283/.354 with five homers, 19 RBI, 22 runs and five stolen bases in 71 games.

Bellinger (hamstring) will return from the injured list Sunday, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Manager Aaron Boone suggested earlier in the week that Bellinger could return to the Yankees' lineup by the end of the weekend, and the 31-year-old outfielder confirmed Saturday that he will do so. Bellinger went 1-for-6 with a strikeout in the two rehab games he played at Triple-A but had been on fire at the plate before getting injured, slashing .372/.438/.465 across his last dozen games. He figures to immediately reclaim his role as New York's primary left fielder.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that Stanton sustained a moderate left calf while running the bases Thursday, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Stanton has been on the injured list since April 28 due to a strained right calf, but his other calf is now the bigger concern after he strained it while falling down during his most recent baserunning session. The Yankees haven't yet ruled out a return for Stanton later this season, but Boone admitted that it will be difficult for the veteran slugger to return before the end of the campaign as a result of his latest setback.

Story (sports hernia) played nine innings at shortstop and went 0-for-4 for Triple-A Worcester on Friday.

Story, who played the fourth game of his rehab assignment Friday, appears to be on the verge of being activated. He's scheduled to play another full game at shortstop Saturday, per MLB.com, and will then get a rest day Sunday. Story could be activated ahead of Monday's game against Miami.

Duran went 4-for-5 with a double in Friday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Angels.

Duran's final hit in the bottom of the 10th inning produced the winning run on a throwing error. He's found his swing again following a 13-game stretch in which he batted .128 (6-for-47). Over the last two games, Duran's reached base eight times in nine plate appearances (6-for-7, two walks, one double, one triple).

Langford went 1-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Angels.

Langford delivered the tying run in the bottom of the 10th inning with a two-out double and then scored the winning run in the Rangers' walk-off win. August has been a cruel month for Langford, who is batting .154 (10-for-65) with four RBI over his last 19 games.
