Warren (9-6) earned the win Sunday over the Red Sox, allowing a run on six hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out seven.

Warren was sharp Sunday, as he logged just his second quality start in his last six outings, while the Yankees provided more than enough run support in a 16-1 victory. The win is just the second for Warren since May 31. Overall, the right-hander sports a 4.23 ERA with a 1.40 WHIP and 133:46 K:BB across 134 innings this season. Warren's currently in line to face the Padres on the road his next time out.

The Angels demoted Martin to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

After just four days with the big-league squad, the Halos are sending Martin back to Salt Lake. During his time in Triple-A this season, including with Durham in the Rays' system, the right-hander owns a 3-1 record, 2.79 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 55:27 K:BB over 48.1 innings. Los Angeles recalled Blake Weiman to take Martin's spot on the 26-man roster.

The Angels called up Weiman from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Weiman will get his second stint in the majors this month. In eight games with the big-league club, Weiman owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 8:1 K:BB over nine innings. The Angels optioned Trevor Martin to Salt Lake to free a spot on the active roster for Weiman.

The Angels promoted Farris from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Farris will make his way back to the big-league club, where he has appeared in 26 games this season. Over 47.1 innings, the 25-year-old owns a 1-3 record, 4.18 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 49:23 K:BB. Los Angeles placed George Klassen (back) on the IL to make room for Farris on the active roster.

The Angels placed Klassen on the 15-day injured list Sunday with left low back inflammation.

The 24-year-old rookie sports a 2-2 record, 3.67 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 24:21 K:BB over 27 innings this season. The Halos recalled Mitch Farris from Triple-A Salt Lake to provide bullpen depth during Klassen's absence.

Rice is out of the lineup for the Yankees' series finale against Boston.

Despite recording multi-hit performances in three of his last four games, Rice will sit out Sunday's pivotal matchup with the Red Sox. Paul Goldschmidt will lead off and play first base, while Luis Garcia will slot in as the DH and cleanup for New York.

Neto is absent from Sunday's lineup against the Phillies, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Despite recording at least one base hit in 10 of his last 11 games, Neto will sit out Sunday's matchup as the Angels look to avoid the sweep. Oswald Peraza will play shortstop and bat eighth for Los Angeles.

Holiday is out of the lineup for Sunday's affair with the A's.

With southpaw Jeffrey Springs on the mound for the Athletics, the left-handed-hitting Holliday will receive a breather for the final game of a three-game set. Blaze Alexander will lead off and play second base for Baltimore.

Basallo (hand) is absent from the lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Athletics.

After being removed early from Saturday's game with a right hand injury, Basallo will sit out Sunday's series finale in Sacramento. Pete Alonso will act as the designated hitter and bat second, while Carlos Narvaez will handle catching duties and bat eighth for Baltimore.

The Mariners recalled Davila from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday.

After recently being optioned Aug. 21, Davila will rejoin the big-league club as they wrap up a pivotal three-game set in Toronto. The 27-year-old has appeared in 23 MLB games this season, registering a 4.10 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 13:11 K:BB over 26.1 innings. Seattle sent Emerson Hancock (groin) to the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move.
