Kelly was removed in the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Blue Jays due to right oblique tightness, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports. He retired three of the seven batters he faced and allowed one earned run on two hits and one walk.

Kelly appeared to be grabbing at his back when he was lifted in the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, but it was apparently his side that was the source of his discomfort. According to Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald, Kelly is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday as the Red Sox look to determine the extent of the injuries, but given that even mild oblique injuries often require multi-week recoveries, the 30-year-old right-hander may be headed to the 15-day injured list. The Red Sox are planning on bringing right-hander Jordan Hicks (toe) back from the IL during the upcoming week, so Kelly could be placed on the shelf in a corresponding move.

Perez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Perez will head to the bench after he went 8-for-27 with four extra-base hits, seven runs and seven RBI while starting in each of the Tigers' last seven games. Though Perez will face more competition for playing time with the Tigers bringing back Matt Vierling (shoulder) from the injured list Saturday, neither player will be included in the lineup Sunday. Instead, the Tigers will have Kerry Carpenter start in right field and Colt Keith serve as their designated hitter, opening up third base for utility man Zach McKinstry.

Kelly entered the game in the top of the fifth inning and completed the frame, allowing one earned run on two hits and one walk while striking out a batter. He then took the mound for the top of the sixth and opened the frame by hitting Toronto's Andres Gimenez with a pitch before he was then visited on the mound by a team trainer. According to McAdam, Kelly seemed to be stretching his lower back or side while speaking to the trainer, and after the right-hander threw two warmup pitches, the decision was made to pull him from the game. The Red Sox should have more details regarding the nature of Kelly's injury later Sunday.

Larnach is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Larnach had started in each of the Twins' last seven games, but he'll take a seat along with fellow left-handed hitters Matt Wallner and Kody Clemens while Minnesota adds more right-handed bats to the lineup to counter Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal. With Larnach and Wallner on the bench, Ryan Jeffers will get a day off from catching to serve as the Twins' designated hitter, and Harrison Bader and Willi Castro will pick up starts at the corner-outfield spots.

Wallner had started in each of the Twins' last 11 games, but he'll take a seat along with fellow left-handed hitters Trevor Larnach and Kody Clemens while Minnesota adds more right-handed bats to the lineup to counter Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal. McCormick (oblique) will report to the Astros' spring facility in Florida to face live pitching this week, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The 30-year-old landed on the shelf in late May due to an oblique strain but is now nearing the final stages of his rehab program. Manager Joe Espada indicated previously that McCormick would require a rehab assignment before returning from the 10-day injured list, which will likely be the next step if the outfielder faces live pitching with no issues.

Wade is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

The left-handed-hitting Wade will hit the bench for the series finale while the Nationals send southpaw Mitchell Parker to the hill. Wade had been included in the lineup in each of the Angels' last six games -- five of which came against right-handed pitchers -- and went 4-for-19 with three walks, one stolen base and four runs.

Trout is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Nationals, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

It's likely just a standard rest day for Trout, who started the previous 24 games and posted an .830 OPS with four homers, 11 RBI, 13 runs and a 22:29 BB:K during that stretch. Travis d'Arnaud will receive a turn at designated hitter in the series finale against Washington.

Neto (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Neto will miss a fourth consecutive start after he jammed his right shoulder while attempting to steal a base Tuesday versus Boston. However, the 24-year-old appeared as a pinch hitter in both of Friday's and Saturday's contests, which indicates that he isn't dealing with a serious injury. Kevin Newman will make another start at shortstop for the Halos on Sunday.

Haggerty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Though he's on the bench against a right-handed pitcher (Luis Castillo) for the second day in a row, the switch-hitting Haggerty should benefit from an uptick in opportunities with Jake Burger (oblique), Wyatt Langford (oblique) and Joc Pederson (hand) all on the injured list. Alejandro Osuna has been serving as Langford's primary replacement in left field, but Haggerty could get most of the opportunities at designated hitter until the Rangers get healthy. Over his last 10 games, Haggerty has gone 9-for-29 (.310) with two extra-base hits, seven walks, seven runs, two RBI and three stolen bases.
