Caleb Durbin 3B | BOS
Red Sox's Caleb Durbin: Contributes to win
Durbin went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI in Sunday's 9-4 win over the Guaridans.
Durbin, who started just three times in a 10-game stretch from May 17 to May 27, has made an impact in four consecutive starts. He's knocked in runs in all four games while going 6-for-17 (.353) with three doubles, a triple and six RBI during that stretch. He used the recent downtime to work on hitting in the cage, per Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic. Durbin noted from his spray charts that he was cutting off half the field. "I think it's both a little bit of a mechanical adjustment as far as how I'm positioning my body to use the whole field and a little bit of approach, too," he said. His brutal season-opening slump is hard to forget with a small sample size of production, but Durbin may have turned a corner.

Masataka Yoshida DH | BOS
Red Sox's Masataka Yoshida: Atones for miscue
Yoshida went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 9-4 win over Cleveland.
Yoshida's two run-single during a six-run seventh inning gave Boston a lead it never relinquished. The go-ahead hit atoned for a fourth-inning miscue, when he lost sight of a fly ball in left field that led to the Guardians taking a lead. Yoshida is getting regular work with Roman Anthony's rehab from a finger injury taking longer than originally anticipated. The outfield/DH logjam that had limited Yoshida's playing time earlier in the season has cleared up for the time being.

Yohendrick Pinango LF | TOR
Blue Jays' Yohendrick Pinango: Homers off bench
Pinango went 2-for-2 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 9-5 loss to the Orioles.
Pinango, who started the day on the bench for a third straight game, entered in the sixth inning after Jesus Sanchez (wrist) left with an injury. The rookie would ultimately provide Toronto with one of their few bright spots, as he singled in the seventh before blasting a 421-foot, three-run homer off Tyler Wells in the eighth. Pinango is now slashing a solid .294/.333/.447 with three homers and 16 RBI through his first 90 big-league plate appearances. While Sanchez's injury doesn't seem serious, it could afford Pinango some additional playing time in the short term.

Gabriel Arias 3B | CLE
Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Closing in on rehab assignment
Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said Saturday that Arias (hamstring) is getting "closer" to a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.
Arias recently began baseball activities and hitting in cages following a brief pause in his rehab activity. Since he landed on the injured list in early April, Cleveland's middle infield has evolved into a tandem of Travis Bazzana at second base and Brayan Rocchio at shortstop. That leaves an infield utility role for Arias when he's ready to return; however, Daniel Schneemann can fill that same role.

Ezequiel Duran SS | TEX
Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Delivers runs in three straight
Duran went 1-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Royals.
All of Duran's offense came in the Rangers' four-run first inning. He plated two with two-out triple and scored one batter later. He had RBI in all three games in the sweep of the Royals and amassed 16 RBI over the last 13 contests.

Nicky Lopez 2B | TEX
Rangers' Nicky Lopez: Sticks at second base
Lopez went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over Kansas City.
Lopez made a fifth consecutive start at second base and has hit safely in the last three contests, going 5-for-11 with a home run and three RBI during that stretch. The keystone was looking like a good fit for Justin Foscue until the Rangers acquired the left-handed hitting Lopez, who appears to be the choice against right-handers. Texas faces a sixth straight right-hander Monday, when it is scheduled to face St. Louis right-hander Michael McGreevy.

Kade Morris SP | ATH
Athletics' Kade Morris: Call-up on tap
The Athletics are expected to call up Morris from Triple-A Las Vegas during the upcoming week, Chris Correa of the Turlock Journal repots.
The 23-year-old will receive his first call to the big leagues after posting a 4.45 ERA and 1.48 WHIP with 49 strikeouts over 60.2 innings in 11 starts with Las Vegas. The Athletics are planning to option left-hander Jacob Lopez to Triple-A on Monday, and his demotion could clear the way for Morris to claim one of the two vacant spots in the Athletics rotation. Gage Jump and Jeffrey Springs are the Athletics' confirmed starters for the first two games of the team's upcoming series in Chicago, but Morris could be a candidate to make a start in Thursday's finale versus the Cubs or during next weekend's series in Houston.

Nick Kurtz 1B | ATH
Athletics' Nick Kurtz: Reaches base four times Sunday
Kurtz went 2-for-3 with an RBI double, a run scored and two walks in Sunday's 13-8 loss against the Yankees.
Kurtz was unable to extend his home-run streak to three games, but he reached base in four of five plate appearances, highlighted by an RBI double in the eighth inning. The first baseman will close May with a .333/.456/.569 slash line, 13 extra-base hits (five homers), 26 RBI, 21 runs and three stolen bases across 28 games. His .939 OPS through 58 total games ranks fifth among qualified MLB hitters.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Reaches base four times in win
Caminero went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two walks in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Angels.
Although Caminero hasn't homered in 10 straight games, he has picked up multiple hits in three consecutive outings. The slugging third baseman has also hit safely in 12 of his last 13 contests. Through 247 plate appearances (56 games), Caminero is slashing a potent .278/.377/.500 with 13 home runs, eight doubles, 28 RBI and 34 runs scored.

Jonah Heim C | ATH
Athletics' Jonah Heim: Blasts homer in loss
Heim went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Yankees.
Heim reached on a Trent Grisham error that plated two runs and later came around to score in the first inning, though the backstop's more notable contribution came when he blasted a three-run homer in the seventh frame. The veteran switch hitter is slashing .197/.266/.366 with two homers, six doubles, 11 RBI and nine runs across 79 plate appearances between Atlanta and the Athletics this season. With Shea Langeliers entrenched as the primary catcher, Heim has been limited to a backup role and sporadic playing time.
