Aranda went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 2-1 win over the Mariners.

Aranda's third-inning blast ended up being the difference in this contest. It was his first homer of the second half, as the infielder struggled a bit by hitting .230 with a .257 slugging percentage over his previous 18 games. He's turned a corner in August, hitting safely in all five of his games this month. For the season, Aranda is batting .287 with an .815 OPS, 15 homers, 72 RBI, 56 runs scored and 19 doubles across 112 contests.

Baker allowed one run on one hit and struck out three over one inning to earn the save in Friday's 2-1 win over the Mariners.

He came into the game on a 13-inning scoreless streak dating back to June 27. Julio Rodriguez snapped that streak with a two-out homer, but Baker bounced back to strike out Josh Naylor to end the game. Baker continues to dominate in the closer role, having converted 33 of 36 chances this season, and he's picked up a save in 14 of his last 15 appearances. The right-hander has a stellar 1.59 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 51:15 K:BB through 45.1 innings on the year.

Rasmussen (11-5) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven scoreless innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Friday.

Rasmussen struggled just before the All-Star break, but he's won four straight starts since the schedule resumed. During the streak, he's given up just two runs over 25 innings with a 32:5 K:BB in that span. Friday's performance was his seventh scoreless outing in 22 starts this season. Rasmussen has a 2.75 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 130:22 K:BB through 124.1 innings overall. He's lined up to make his next start on the road versus the Athletics.

Jensen went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 6-4 loss against the Cubs.

Jensen also struck out twice and has done so 22 times across his past 13 contests, resulting in a .149 average (7-for-44) and just four extra-base hits during that stretch. The 23-year-old continues to operate as Kansas City's primary leadoff man, but that may not be the case much longer if he continues to struggle at the plate. After Friday's productive performance, Jensen now has a .229/.303/.422 slash line with 16 home runs, 55 RBI and 52 runs through 109 games during his first full major-league season.

Schanuel went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during the Angels' 4-3 win over the Marlins on Friday.

Schanuel put the Angels up for good in the seventh inning with a two-run long ball off Josh Ekness. It was the seventh home run of the season for Schanuel but first since since June 23 against the Orioles. He's gone 8-for-37 with four RBI and five extra-base hits over his last 10 outings.

Trout went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during the Angels' 4-3 win over the Marlins on Friday.

Trout opened Friday's scoring with a solo homer in the first inning, marking the sixth time he's hit a long ball on his birthday, tying Alex Rodriguez and Mark Reynolds for the major-league record, per Angels Senior Communications Manager Matt Birch. It was also Trout's first homer since July 8 and 19th of the year, bringing him one step closer to logging 20-plus home runs in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2018-19.

Klassen did not factor into Friday's decision against Miami, allowing one run on four hits and four walks while striking out three across four innings.

Klassen was promoted from Triple-A Salt Lake ahead of Friday's start, his first major-league outing since April 11 and third of the season. He failed to make it through three innings in either of his first two starts, giving up seven runs (six earned) across those two outings. Klassen was better in Friday's appearance, limiting the Marlins to just one run, though he ran up his pitch count to 83 while tossing 46 strikes, and he recorded only nine first-pitch strikes to 20 batters. He's expected to take a couple more turns in the rotation, at least until Yusei Kikuchi (shoulder) is cleared to return from his rehab assignment. Klassen is tentatively lined up to face the Rangers at home next week.

Yoshida went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored during Friday's 13-1 win over the Athletics.

Yoshida extended Boston's lead to 8-0 in the fourth inning with an RBI double before adding to the lead with a sacrifice fly in the sixth. It was the 17th multi-hit game of the season for Yoshida, five of which have come over his last seven games. He's gone 10-for-27 with seven RBI and four extra-base hits in that span.

Lynch (4-3) took the loss Friday against the Cubs, giving up four runs on three hits with two strikeouts and two walks over 1.2 innings.

The left-hander was making his first start of the season after pitching well out of the bullpen across the first four months of 2026. A brief outing was expected given the role change, but Lynch's early exit Friday was also the result of ineffectiveness, as Chicago forced him from the contest during a four-run second inning. The performance ended an 11-appearance scoreless streak and the four runs allowed are the most he's allowed in an outing all season. Lynch still has a 2.64 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 37:14 K:BB across 47.2 innings this year, but it'll take some time for him to build up to a full starter's workload after he threw 35 pitches Friday.

Rogers went 2-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored during the Red Sox's 13-1 win over the Athletics on Friday.

Rogers made his Red Sox debut Wednesday against the White Sox but made his first start with his new team in Friday's series opener. He contributed immediately with an RBI double in the second inning and tied a season high in runs scored that he set twice before Friday's contest. Rogers will continue to serve as Boston's backup catcher behind Connor Wong, though the former's playing time will take a sizable hit once Adley Rutschman (wrist) is cleared to return from the 10-day injured list. That could come sooner rather than later, as Rutschman has been given the green light to embark on a rehab assignment Saturday, per Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald.
