McGonigle went 1-for-3 with two walks, a home run, an additional run scored and two total RBI in Friday's 13-1 win over the Athletics.

McGonigle batted leadoff and helped pace Detroit's offensive outburst in Sacramento. The rookie infielder is now up to 10 home runs on the season, and he finished July slashing .293/.374/.446, which is in line with his overall numbers. McGonigle has quickly established himself as a strong fantasy contributor, and he's shown no signs of slowing down as the year has rolled along.

Dingler went 2-for-6 with a grand slam in Friday's 13-1 win over the Athletics.

Dingler went deep in the eighth inning as the Tigers ran up the score, giving him 23 home runs and 72 RBI on the season. The RBI total is first among all MLB catchers, while Dingler trails only Hunter Goodman and his 31 homers for the lead among his position group. The Detroit backstop is having a breakout campaign and should remain firmly entrenched in fantasy lineups.

Leasure (forearm) has resumed throwing bullpen sessions, MLB.com reports.

Leasure has been sidelined since late May with a right flexor strain. He was able to resume bullpen sessions in late July, and he is expected to return at some point in August. However, he will almost certainly need a rehab assignment, so he may not be activated until late in the month.

Rafaela went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Friday's 9-4 win over the Dodgers.

Rafaela's seventh-inning blast put the Red Sox ahead for good. The outfielder had a stellar July, hitting .303 with five homers, five steals and 19 RBI over 25 games during the month. Overall, he's batting .286 with a .782 OPS, 12 homers, 15 steals, 54 RBI, 52 runs scored, 27 doubles and three triples over 105 contests, taking a step forward in terms of consistency.

Suarez allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Suarez continues to operate on a limited workload -- he threw just 65 pitches (42 strikes) in his second start back from a groin strain. The left-hander wasn't as sharp in this performance as his last one, which may partially explain the early exit, though it appears he's still at least a couple of starts away from getting back to a full workload. For the season, Suarez has a 3.15 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 105:28 K:BB over 100 innings across 19 starts. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the White Sox.

Young went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Twins.

Young ended up hitting .258 (23-for-89) with five homers and nine RBI over 24 games in July. He's now hit atop the order in seven straight games as he settles in with consistency at the plate. For the season, the second baseman is batting .261 with a .733 OPS, 14 homers, 50 RBI, 52 runs scored, 14 doubles, three triples and three stolen bases over 111 contests.

Miller allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Friday.

Miller limited the damage to a two-run home run by Brooks Lee in the second inning. The Mariners' bullpen couldn't hold the lead, leaving Miller to see his winless skid reach four games, a span in which he's allowed 16 runs (13 earned) over 21.1 innings. His shaky July has taken a little shine off his overall numbers, but he still has a strong 2.80 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 74:13 K:BB through 74 innings over 13 games (12 starts) this season. Miller is projected for a home start versus the Rays next week.

Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Mariners.

Jeffers has hit safely in 11 of 12 games since he returned from a fractured left hamate. He has gone 13-for-45 (.289) with three homers, 10 RBI and two doubles in that span. The catcher continues to provide steady offense at a premium position in fantasy. For the season, he's batting .293 with a .935 OPS, 10 homers, 36 RBI, 31 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple and one stolen base over 49 contests.

Lewis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Mariners.

Lewis extended his hitting streak to six games with his seventh-inning long ball. He has gone 6-for-22 during the streak, adding four RBI and a steal. The homer Friday ended a 13-game power drought for Lewis, though he still hasn't logged a multi-hit game since July 11. For the season, the infielder is batting .216 with a .690 OPS, 11 homers, 34 RBI, 37 runs scored, 10 steals, 13 doubles and a triple over 76 games.

Lee went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Mariners.

Lee got the Twins on the board in the second inning with his homer. The infielder has slumped a bit at the plate, going just 3-for-28 over his last eight games. Despite the downturn, he's maintained a fairly regular spot in the lineup. He's batting .244 with a .725 OPS this season, and he matched his homer total from last year (16) with his long ball Friday. Lee also has 58 RBI, 50 runs scored, 16 doubles, three triples and seven stolen bases over 106 contests this year.
