Nunez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Nunez will get a chance to regroup Saturday after going just 3-for-35 (.086) with three steals and eight strikeouts across his last dozen games. CJ Abrams will slide over to shortstop as a result, allowing Jorbit Vivas to start at second base.

Ruiz (head) will start at catcher and bat eighth Saturday against the Dodgers, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Ruiz will return to the starting nine for the first time since taking a foul tip off his mask during Wednesday's game against Atlanta. The 28-year-old has been productive when in the lineup recently, slashing .348/.411/.470 with two homers, nine RBI and eight runs scored across 73 plate appearances since the beginning of August.

Smith isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Smith will catch a breather after going 1-for-13 with two RBI and two runs scored in his first four games since returning from the IL. Hunter Feduccia will handle catching duties and bat ninth.

Ohtani (knee/biceps) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Ohtani will sit out a third consecutive game Saturday as he continues to manage soreness in his knee and biceps. The Dodgers remain hopeful that he won't require a trip to the injured list, though a move may be necessary if he isn't able to return to the lineup within the next several days. Dalton Rushing will serve as Los Angeles' designated hitter and bat seventh.

Turang isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati.

Turang doesn't typically move to the bench whenever the Brewers encounter a left-handed starter, but Milwaukee will keep him and his .536 OPS against southpaws in the dugout to begin Saturday's matchup against Andrew Abbott. David Hamilton will man the keystone in Turang's absence while Joey Ortiz covers third.

Bauers isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

The Brewers will load their lineup with right-handed bats as they prepare to face southpaw Andrew Abbott on Saturday, which means the lefty-hitting Bauers will begin the evening on the bench. Luis Lara will get the nod in right field while Andrew Vaughn starts at first base.

Salas isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

The lefty-swinging Salas will retreat to the bench for a second consecutive game while the Padres take on a tough southpaw in Carlos Rodon. Freddy Fermin will start at catcher and bat seventh.

Lowe isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels.

The Pirates will get Lowe a breather Saturday while they face left-handed starter Yusei Kikuchi. Nick Gonzales will slide over to second base as a result, giving Jared Triolo a start at third.

Stott (personal) will start at third base and bat eighth Saturday against Atlanta.

Stott was scratched from the lineup Friday for personal reasons but will end up missing just the one game before returning to the starting nine Saturday. The 28-year-old has been in a bit of a slump recently, slashing just .156/.204/.267 in 49 plate appearances across his last 13 games.

Yastrzemski isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

After going just 3-for-19 with two runs scored and five strikeouts in his last seven games, Yastrzemski will step out of the starting nine Saturday while Mauricio Dubon starts in left field, clearing the way for Ha-Seong Kim to start at shortstop.
