The Red Sox designated Kahnle for assignment Wednesday.

Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com relayed after Tuesday's 8-1 loss to the Nationals that Kahnle would be DFA'd, and the move has now been made officially after Boston acquired infielder Brett Harris in a trade to take the reliever's spot on the 40-man roster. After signing a minor-league deal with Boston late in spring training, Kahnle moved up to the big leagues on June 4 and turned in an 8.00 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 5:6 K:BB across nine innings over eight appearances out of the bullpen.

Ingle is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Ingle will join fellow left-handed hitters Travis Bazzana and Steven Kwan on the bench while southpaw MacKenzie Gore takes the hill for the Rangers. David Fry will draw the start in left field in place of Ingle, who has gone 1-for-11 with three walks, two RBI and one run in his first four MLB games since being called up from Triple-A Columbus last week. The rookie also committed a mental error Tuesday that allowed the winning run to score in a 4-2 victory for Texas.

Bazzana is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Rangers.

Bazzana has gone just 2-for-29 with a 1:10 BB:K over his last seven games. Additionally, the Rangers are starting southpaw MacKenzie Gore, presenting a good opportunity for the left-swinging Bazzana to get a break during the afternoon contest. Daniel Schneemann will fill in for the Guardians at second base.

Kwan is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

The Guardians will hold the left-handed-hitting Kwan out of the starting nine for the series finale while southpaw MacKenzie Gore takes the bump for Texas. Kahlil Watson will slide over from his usual spot in right field to replace Kwan in center.

Bailey is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Bailey will get a breather for the Wednesday afternoon game after playing nine innings behind the plate in a 4-2 loss Tuesday night. Austin Hedges will handle catching duties for the Guardians.

Wesneski (elbow) began a rehab assignment with the Astros' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate Tuesday, allowing one hit and no walks over three scoreless innings while striking out one batter.

Wesneski retired nine of the 10 batters he faced in the 25-pitch appearance. It's a big step as the right-hander continues to work his way back from May 2025 Tommy John surgery. Wesneski will likely need to use most, if not all, of his 30 rehab days, setting him up to rejoin the Astros' active roster around Aug. 1.

The Orioles activated Kremer (quadriceps) from the 60-day injured list Wednesday.

Kremer will start Wednesday's game against the White Sox after missing more than two months of action due to a right quad strain. The right-hander spun 6.2 scoreless innings and threw 79 pitches in his final rehab outing with Triple-A Norfolk, so his workload Wednesday will likely be slightly limited from a pitch-count perspective. Kremer logged a 4.09 ERA and 16:2 K:BB over 11 innings back in April before getting injured.

Teel is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Baltimore.

Teel started behind the dish each of the last three days, so he'll get some rest during Wednesday's afternoon game. Drew Romo is doing the catching and batting ninth for the White Sox.

Montgomery is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game in Baltimore.

It appears to be a routine day off after Montgomery started each of the previous 17 contests. Luisangel Acuna will cover shortstop for the White Sox in Wednesday's matinee.

The White Sox optioned Schweitzer to Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.

He's being booted from the active roster to make space for Noah Schultz, who returns from the injured list to start Wednesday's game versus the Orioles. Schweitzer notched his first career save Tuesday in Baltimore, tossing four scoreless innings while finishing off a victory.
