Rocker did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing four hits and a walk across six scoreless innings. He struck out five.

Rocker was excellent against Toronto, recording his fourth quality start of the year and just his second in his last seven outings. Rocker, who pitched as a traditional starter Sunday after working behind an opener in his last appearances against the Twins, now sports a 3.83 ERA with a 1.34 WHIP and 70:31 K:BB across 80 innings this season. He's tentatively lined up for a home matchup with the Tigers his next time out.

The Red Sox optioned Gasper to Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

The 30-year-old had received fairly regular playing time between catcher and designated hitter since about mid-May, but his .486 OPS in 17 games this month will result in him being demoted. Romy Gonzalez (shoulder) was reinstated from the injured list and will take over Gasper's spot on the 26-man active roster.

Wagner is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Since Wagner was called up from Triple-A El Paso on June 9, most of his absences from the lineup have come against left-handed pitching, but he'll take a seat against right-hander Emmet Sheehan on Sunday. Wagner is getting on base at a robust .432 clip since his promotion, but he's offered little value thus far in traditional 5x5 rotisserie leagues with a .265 average, zero home runs, zero RBI, zero steals and five runs over 15 games.

Fermin is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Since he was activated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday, Fermin has started twice behind the plate while Rodolfo Duran has caught the other three games. Though he has a longer track record at the big-league level, Fermin could be used in a timeshare with Duran until he's further removed from the concussion he sustained June 13.

Holmes (fibula) has been throwing on flat ground and is expected to progress to mound work next week, Chelsea Janes of SNY.tv reports.

The veteran right-hander underwent a follow-up X-ray last week that came back clean, clearing the way for him to ramp up his rehab work while recovering from a fractured right fibula. Holmes will now need some time to build his arm back up and is likely looking at a return in late July or early August.

Ward is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Ward is on the bench for the fourth time in five games and appears to have been supplanted by Tommy Edman as the Dodgers' preferred option in left field. With Teoscar Hernandez (hamstring) expected back from the injured list Monday, Ward will face an even tougher path to regaining playing time in the Los Angeles outfield, and he may be optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Rushing is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Rushing will receive a breather after he started behind the plate in each of the past three games. Chuckie Robinson will handle catching duties for the Dodgers in the series finale in San Diego.

Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

The left-handed-hitting Smith will head to the bench while southpaw Robbie Ray takes the hill for the Giants. With Smith out of the lineup, Drake Baldwin will get a day from catching but will stick in the starting nine at designated hitter.

Yastrzemski is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Though he'll hit the bench while southpaw Robbie Ray takes the hill for the Giants, Yastrzemski still appears to have a hold on a strong-side platoon role in the corner outfield. Yastrzemski has been seeing most of his starts in right field of late but should slide over to left field on a more regular basis once Ronald Acuna (hamstring) eventually returns from the injured list.

White is starting in right field for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Though he'll draw a start Sunday while lefty Robbie Ray toes the rubber for the Giants, the right-handed-hitting White has seen his opportunities to play against right-handed pitching dwindle of late. Atlanta has used Ha-Seong Kim at shortstop in its past two matchups versus righties, resulting in Mauricio Dubon moving into a corner-outfield spot and bumping White from the lineup on both occasions.
