Rodriguez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

The 26-year-old is on the bench for the third time in four games and looks to be part of a timeshare at catcher with Henry Davis. Rodriguez has been the far better producer of the two this season, submitting an .823 OPS in 99 plate appearances with the Pirates. Davis, meanwhile, has delivered a .558 OPS over 157 plate appearances.

Rangers manager Skip Schumaker said Sunday that Langford (hamstring) will remain on the 10-day injured list through the All-Star break, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Langford will be eligible to come off the IL on July 7, but rather than rushing him back on the field for the final week of the first half, the Rangers will keep him out through the break to provide more time for his strained let hamstring to heal. Evan Carter was reinstated from the 10-day IL on Sunday in a corresponding move and will settle back in as the Rangers' primary center fielder, while Langford's absence should give Alejandro Osuna a longer leash as the team's main option in left field.

McLain is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Cincinnati will go with Elly De La Cruz and Edwin Arroyo as its starters in the middle infield for the second day in a row while McLain is relegated to the bench. Arroyo has generated a modest .644 OPS since his call-up from Triple-A Louisville on June 1 and may need to improve his production to seize control of the everyday job at second base, but McLain hasn't done much to earn himself a larger share of the playing time. After going hitless in eight at-bats over his last three starts, his batting average has dropped to .198 on the season.

The Tigers activated Flaherty (ankle) from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday's game against the Astros, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

The veteran right-hander has spent the past couple weeks on the shelf due to a left peroneal strain, but he's ready to rejoin Detroit's rotation after one rehab start with Double-A Erie. Flaherty has yet to find much consistency on the mound in 2026 with a 5.35 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 78:34 K:BB across 65.2 innings.

Arroyo will start at second base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Since Elly De La Cruz returned from the 10-day injured list Tuesday and pushed Matt McLain off shortstop, Arroyo and McLain have been splitting time at the keystone. Arroyo has held a slight edge in playing time between the two, as he's started three games to McLain's two and will be in the lineup for a second straight day against a righty (Mitch Keller). Since being called up from Triple-A Louisville on June 1, Arroyo has produced a pedestrian .263/.328/.316 over 65 plate appearances, so he likely has more work to do to take firmer control of the second base gig.

Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

The Pirates are sending right-hander Mitch Keller to the bump for the series finale, but Lowe will still sit after going just 2-for-13 with a 2:6 BB:K over his last six games. Cincinnati will go with Spencer Steer as its starting first baseman in place of Lowe.

Taveras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Taveras has maintained a .248/.324/.363 slash line (95 wRC+) to go with two home runs and nine stolen bases across 260 plate appearances on the season, giving the Orioles adequate production while the team has navigated numerous injuries. However, with Adley Rutschman (concussion) and Dylan Beavers (oblique) returning from the injured list Sunday, Taveras seems headed for a fourth outfielder role. Baltimore will go with Taylor Ward, Colton Cowser and Beavers as its starting outfield trio Sunday.

Alexander is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

The 27-year-old had started each of the last three games, but he could shift back into a utility role after Baltimore reinstated two key lineup cogs in Adley Rutschman (concussion) and Dylan Beavers (oblique) from the injured list Sunday. Alexander's last five starts had come at third base, but Coby Mayo could end up seeing the bulk of the time at the hot corner since he'll have fewer opportunities to serve as the designated hitter with Rutschman and Beavers back in the fold.

Caglianone was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox due to left groin soreness, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear when exactly Caglianone sustained the injury, though he's been scuffling at the plate over the past four games, going 1-for-15 with a walk, a triple and eight strikeouts. The 23-year-old will miss at least one start while he tends to the injury.

Altuve is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

The veteran second baseman will get the afternoon off after he slashed .245/.275/.408 with two home runs, no stolen bases, six RBI and five runs over the last 12 games. Raynel Delgado will replace Altuve at the keystone and bat ninth.
