Walker went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Tigers.

The first baseman paced the Astros as part of a 15-hit attack, with both two-baggers coming off former teammate Framber Valdez. It was Walker's first multi-hit performance since June 8, snapping a 15-game skid in which he'd gone just 8-for-58 (.138) with two homers and four RBI. On the season, he's slashing .240/.309/.470 with 18 home runs, 44 runs and 53 RBI in 83 contests.

France, who was hit in the wrist by a pitch against the Dodgers on Friday, had X-rays return negative, but he's out of Saturday's lineup, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

France was nailed in the wrist by a Roki Sasaki fastball in the fourth inning Friday. The veteran infielder initially stayed in the game but was then replaced by Miguel Andujar at first base in the ninth inning. The good news for France is that X-rays returned negative, but he's nonetheless beginning on the bench for Saturday's matchup. Manager Craig Stammen said Saturday that France isn't looking at an IL stint, and the infielder will be available off the bench for the evening contest, so it doesn't sound like he is dealing with a serious injury.

Hader struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his seventh save of the season in an 8-6 win over the Tigers.

The veteran closer continues to shine since making a belated season debut in early June after recovering from biceps tendinitis. Hader has been scored upon in only one of 11 appearances since coming off the IL, producing a 0.82 ERA, 0.36 WHIP and 17:2 K:BB in 11 innings, and he has yet to blow a save chance.

Teng didn't factor into the decision Saturday in an 8-6 win over the Tigers, coughing up five runs (four earned) on eight hits and a walk over 3.2 innings. He struck out one.

A grand slam by Kerry Carpenter in the third inning accounted for most of the damage off Teng, but a late rally by Houston took the right-hander off the hook for his seventh loss of 2026. Teng has given up at least five runs in four of five June starts, and while some unearned runs have softened the blow to his ratios, he still carries a 7.77 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB through 22 innings on the month. He's currently scheduled to make his next start at home next week against the Twins, but with Cristian Javier (shoulder) having built up to 75 pitches in his most recent rehab outing, Teng's time in the rotation may be about to end.

Seigler went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Yankees.

Getting another start at second base, this time batting seventh against future Hall of Famer Gerrit Cole, Seigler got good wood on a 97.3-mph fastball in the second inning and lofted it the other way over the Green Monster. It was the first career homer for the 27-year-old in his 44th big-league game, and over eight straight starts for an injury-ravaged Red Sox infield, Siegler is batting .333 (9-for-27) with two doubles, two RBI and five runs in addition to Saturday's long ball.

Chapman walked one and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his 16th save of the season in a 4-1 win over the Yankees.

The veteran closer picked up his second save of the series against the club with whom he racked up 153 between 2016 and 2022, the most of any of the seven teams Chapman has suited up for in his big-league career. The left-hander's only blown save of the season came at Coors Field last week, and over 23.2 innings so far this year he's produced a 1.90 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 30:11 K:BB.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Hernandez (hamstring) will be activated off the injured list ahead of Monday's series opener versus the Athletics, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Hernandez has been sidelined since May 27 due to the hamstring strain, but he began a rehab stint with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday and has gone 3-for-11 with three homers and six RBI through three games. The veteran slugger has started in left field in all three of those minor-league contests, so he's had the opportunity to test out the hamstring on defense. Hernandez's return to the Dodgers will likely mean that Ryan Ward will get significantly less playing time, and Alex Call's opportunities could shrink as well. However, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports that Los Angeles is expected to limit Hernandez to "roughly 3-to-4 games a week" initially upon his activation, so there should still be opportunities for Ward and/or Call to get some starts.

Taylor (3-1) earned the win against the Royals on Saturday, striking out four over two perfect innings.

Taylor entered a tie game in the eighth inning and needed just 19 pitches to log two perfect frames. It snapped a streak of five straight outings in which the 24-year-old allowed at least one run, and he's now worked multiple frames in five of his past nine appearances. For the year, he's notched two saves and five holds to go along with a 2.83 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 60:12 K:BB across 41.1 innings.

Bennett (2-3) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over 6.1 innings in a 4-1 victory over the Yankees. He struck out three.

The rookie southpaw tossed 87 pitches (59 strikes) en route to his second straight quality start. Bennett, who was acquired from the Nationals over the winter, has proven to be find for the Red Sox, and through his first six big-league outings he's delivered a 3.27 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 25:7 K:BB through 33 innings. He'll try to stay sharp in his next start, which is set to come on the road next weekend against the Angels.

Martin did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Royals, allowing four hits and one walk with three strikeouts over 5.1 scoreless innings.

Martin kept the Royals off the board and fell two outs shy of a quality start, throwing 54 of 87 pitches for strikes with only seven whiffs. The 29-year-old has now rebounded from a nine-run blowup June 16 with two strong outings, allowing just one total earned run over 11.1 innings. He'll take a 3.00 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 90:24 K:BB across 93 frames this season into a road matchup with the Guardians next week.
