Alvarez went 4-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored in Wednesday's 11-9 win over the Pirates.

Alvarez didn't add to his homer total -- all four of his hits were singles in his fifth multi-hit effort over his last eight contests. The slugger has six homers and 13 RBI over his last nine games, a span in which he's batting .400 (14-for-35). On the year, he's hitting .316 with a 1.075 OPS, 21 homers, 44 RBI, 41 runs scored, 12 doubles and a stolen base over 62 contests.

Paredes went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI, a walk and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 11-9 win over the Pirates.

Paredes had gone eight games without a multi-hit effort prior to Wednesday. The third baseman helped cut into the deficit with his seventh-inning homer, his second long ball in six contests. For the season, he's hitting .238 with a .720 OPS, seven homers, 27 RBI, 23 runs scored, 10 doubles and no stolen bases over 57 games. Carlos Correa's season-ending ankle injury has provided Paredes a path to everyday starts at third base.

Hader walked one and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 11-9 win over the Pirates.

Hader missed more than two months due to left biceps tendinitis before being activated from the IL on Tuesdayand he was able to convert the save while throwing 17 pitches (11 strikes) in his season debut Wednesday. Hader's 2025 campaign was interrupted by a left shoulder strain, preventing him from earning his sixth 30-save campaign. He'll likely fall short of that mark again in 2026 due to the time he's already missed, but he looks ready to take full control of closing duties for the Astros.

Arrighetti allowed four runs on six hits, a walk and a hit batsman while striking out three over four innings in a no-decision Wednesday versus the Pirates.

Arrighetti ran into trouble in the fourth inning, serving up a grand slam to Henry Davis. This was the first bad outing of the season for Arrighetti -- he had gone at least five innings without allowing more than three runs in any of his first eight games. He's now at a 1.94 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 46:27 K:BB through 51 innings this season. A 4.8 BB/9 and 4.17 FIP suggest he's been fortunate so far, though the walk figure is a mark in line with his career norms. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Angels.

Valenzuela went 1-for-3 with a solo home run In the 7-3 loss to Atlanta on Wednesday.

Valenzuela smacked a solo shot off of Tyler Kinley in the ninth inning for his fifth long ball of the season. The rookie catcher has gotten plenty of playing time in place of the injured Alejandro Kirk (thumb) since being called up in early April. Kirk is expected to return at some point next week, but Valenzuela's .723 OPS this season may have earned him the backup catching job over Tyler Heineman (.380 OPS).

Lukes went 2-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to Atlanta.

Lukes cranked a home run to right off of Grant Holmes in the third inning to briefly give Toronto the lead. The outfielder has been hot since coming back from an injured hamstring in late May, continuing a 10-game hitting streak during which he has gone 14-for-31 with four doubles, three RBI, and six runs scored.

Olson went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Olson now has four multi-hit performances in his last six games as he continues his hot hitting. The first baseman has a .273/.348/.562 slash line and 17 home runs through 62 games this season. Olson is powering these stats by being in the 95th percentile of baseball in expected slugging (.549) and average exit velocity (93.5 mph).

Albies went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a double and two runs scored against Toronto in a 7-3 win Wednesday.

Albies destroyed a pitch for a three-run homer that barely stayed fair down the left-field line to bolster Atlanta's 4-3 lead in the seventh. The three-time All-Star delivered his 19th multi-hit performance of the season, lengthening his hitting streak to seven games in the process. During that span, Albies has gone 11-for-27 with two home runs and seven RBI.

Dubon went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Dubon hit a three-run blast into the right-field bullpen in the third inning to give Atlanta a 4-2 lead, which it wouldn't relinquish. The super-utility man has been playing left field pretty consistently after moving from shortstop once Ha-Seong Kim came back from injury. This game ended a 3-for-27 slump since May 23 for Dubon, and on the season he's slashing .249/.304/.380 with four homers, 23 runs and 32 RBI in 58 contests.

Lange secured the save Wednesday against the Reds, allowing no runs on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. He struck out two.

After closer Lucas Erceg blew his sixth save of the season Tuesday, Lange converted his first save chance Wednesday but did allow the potential tying run to get to the plate. The Royals figure to continue exploring their ninth-inning options, at least until Carlos Estevez (shoulder) makes his way back into the bullpen mix. Lange has a lackluster 4.33 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 28:14 K:BB over 27 innings.
