Chourio went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, one walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Giants.

In just his 24th game of the season, Chourio smacked his ninth double of 2026 in the eighth inning, driving home a run to extend Milwaukee's lead to 7-3. Since making his season debut May 4, Chourio is slashing .284/.348/.431 with 11 extra-base hits, including two homers, 12 RBI, 15 runs scored, five stolen bases and a 10:30 BB:K across 112 plate appearances.

Madden is no longer lined up to start Sunday's contest against the Mariners, with the Tigers listing Jack Flaherty as their probable starter for that game, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Madden returned from the 15-day injured list to start Monday's series opener versus the Rays, working 3.1 innings and striking out four while allowing two earned runs on three hits and two walks in a no-decision. Flaherty ended up starting Tuesday's contest, but he'll now move ahead of Madden in the pitching schedule after securing his first win of the season while spinning five shutout innings in Detroit's 8-0 victory. The Tigers haven't clarified what Madden's role might be look like moving forward, but he may soon be headed to the bullpen or to Triple-A Toledo while the Detroit rotation is set to get some reinforcements in the near future. Justin Verlander (hip) threw five shutout innings in a rehab start Tuesday for Toledo and could be activated from the 60-day injured list next week, while Tarik Skubal (elbow) could be cleared to head out on a rehab assignment as soon as Saturday.

Matz (4-3) took the loss Tuesday, coughing up five runs on six hits over 1.2 innings as the Rays were routed 8-0 by the Tigers. He struck out two without walking a batter.

Gleyber Torres led off the game with a solo shot before Wenceel Perez added a two-run blast in the second, helping to chase Matz from the game after only 53 pitches (35 strikes). The southpaw's been tagged for 11 runs in his last two outings, ballooning his ERA from 3.70 to 5.48, and he hasn't won a game since late April. With Jesse Scholtens (wrist) on the IL and Joe Boyle still struggling to find his form at Triple-A Durham, however, Tampa Bay may have to stick with Matz in the rotation a little while longer. He lines up to make his next start at home early next week against the Red Sox.

Yelich went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Giants.

Yelich walked, stole his fourth base of the season and came around to score in the first inning. He then drove home a pair with a single in the eighth to give Milwaukee a three-run lead. Since missing a few days with a back injury last month, Yelich is 16-for-57 (.281) with three home runs, 10 RBI, 13 runs scored and an 8:20 BB:K over his last 14 games. He's slashing .286/.360/.455 with four homers, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored, four stolen bases and a 13:36 BB:K across 125 trips to the plate this season.

Urias (elbow) is expected to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Memphis as soon as this weekend, Derrick Goold and Amber Winkler of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.

Urias is nearly ready for game action after being sidelined for the past month with right elbow lateral epicondylitis. The veteran infielder should be ready to rejoin the Cardinals' roster by mid-June, and Urias might see an uptick in playing time, given Nolan Gorman's struggles.

Flaherty (1-7) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing five hits and two walks over five scoreless innings in an 8-0 rout of the Rays. He struck out six.

The veteran right-hander got lifted after 94 pitches (56 strikes), falling short of his second quality start of 2026, but he finally collected his first win after getting stuck with the loss in his five prior trips to the mound. Flaherty has a 4.71 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 28.2 innings since the beginning of May, but his 38:7 K:BB over that stretch offers some hope he'll be able to turn a tough season around. He'll look to build on this effort in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Mariners.

Harrison (7-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Giants, allowing one run on four hits and two walks with 12 strikeouts across 5.2 innings.

After spending the first two and a half years of his big-league career with the Giants, the team that drafted him, this was Harrison's first start against his former team. He proceeded to shove again, as he has all season, generating 19 whiffs on 106 pitches while matching his season high with 12 strikeouts. Harrison's only blemish was a solo homer allowed to Willy Adames in the sixth inning. Over his last seven starts, Harrison has a microscopic 0.91 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 55:9 K:BB across 39.2 innings. The lefty's 31.9 percent strikeout rate is in the 96th percentile this season. For the year, Harrison owns a 1.57 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 73:16 K:BB across 57.1 innings.

Church (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Thursday, Derrick Goold and Amber Winkler of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.

Church has been upping his activity level of late and now a rehab stint has been scheduled. He's missed less than two weeks with a left shoulder strain, so Church's rehab assignment should not be a lengthy one.

Harper went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Padres.

The veteran slugger got the Phillies on the board by taking Randy Vasquez deep in the fourth inning before crossing the plate with the winning run on an Alec Bohm double-play grounder in the sixth. Harper has just three hits in his last eight games but two of them have left the yard, and on the season he's slashing .262/.363/.519 with 14 homers, four steals, 36 runs and 36 RBI in 60 contests.

Duran struck out the side in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 13th save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Padres.

The right-hander hit triple digits on the radar gun four times in 14 pitches (nine strikes) during a dominant performance. Since recovering from an oblique strain and returning from the IL in early May, Duran has posted a 1.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 21:5 K:BB in 12 innings while converting all eight of his save chances.
