TJ Rumfield 3B | COL
Rockies' TJ Rumfield: Taking seat versus lefty
Rumfield is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.
The left-handed-hitting Rumfield was included in the lineup when the Rockies last faced a lefty starter (Colton Gordon) on Tuesday in Houston, but he'll cede first base to Troy Johnston while Colorado goes up against Dodgers southpaw Justin Wrobleski in the series opener. Rumfield has gone 2-for-11 with a pair of base hits and a 0:1 BB:K versus left-handed pitching this season.

Edouard Julien 2B | COL
Rockies' Edouard Julien: Idle against southpaw
Julien is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.
While Julien has taken hold of the leadoff spot against right-handed pitching, the Rockies will continue to shield the left-handed batter from southpaws. Jordan Beck will replace Julien as the team's table setter Monday while lefty Justin Wrobleski toes the rubber for the Dodgers.

Ryan Pepiot RP | TB
Rays' Ryan Pepiot: Not progressing as hoped
Rays manager Kevin Cash said that Pepiot's injured right hip felt "unstable" while the pitcher played catch Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Pepiot suffered a setback with his right hip last week when he threw a bullpen session, which resulted in him being shifted to the 60-day injured list. He was given an injection and shut down for a few days, and it seems the hip issue is still lingering. It's unclear whether Pepiot will be shut down again, but clearly the righty isn't progressing as well as hoped. He won't be eligible to make his season debut with the Rays until May 24.

Mason Barnett P | ATH
Athletics' Mason Barnett: Sent back to minors
The Athletics optioned Barnett to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.
Barnett needed 43 pitches to cover two-plus innings Sunday versus the White Sox in his lone appearance in the majors. Since Barnett would have been unavailable to pitch for a day or two, the Athletics have summoned a fresh bullpen arm to take his roster spot.

Pedro Pages C | STL
Cardinals' Pedro Pages: Idle Monday
Pages is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.
After starting behind the dish in three of the last four games, Pages will hit the bench for the series opener in Miami. Ivan Herrera will handle catching duties for St. Louis.

Keibert Ruiz C | WAS
Nationals' Keibert Ruiz: Sitting as timeshare continues
Ruiz is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
Ruiz started consecutive games April 10 and 11, but since then, he and Drew Millas have resumed alternating turns behind the dish like they have throughout the season. Though he's the more established of the two backstops, Ruiz has cobbled together a middling .220/.250/.366 slash line for the season and will likely need to improve upon on that production in order to earn a larger share of the starting opportunities.

Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL
Braves' Mauricio Dubon: Handed day off Monday
Dubon is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.
Jorge Mateo will receive the nod at shortstop while Dubon receives a well-deserved rest after he had started in 19 consecutive games. With a strong .299/.341/.455 slash line through 82 plate appearances on the season, Dubon should remain an everyday player for Atlanta before likely moving into a utility role once Ha-Seong Kim (finger) is ready to return from the injured list around mid-May.

Adrian Bohorquez SP | MIN
Twins' Adrian Bohorquez: Shelved by forearm injury
Bohorquez was placed on 7-day injured list at High-A Cedar Rapids with a right forearm strain, Theodore Tollefson of Zone Coverage reports.
Given the nature of the injury, it could be a lengthy absence for the 21-year-old hurler. Bohorquez carries an 11.25 ERA and 13:9 K:BB over eight innings in his first three starts with Cedar Rapids this season.

Taylor Trammell LF | HOU
Astros' Taylor Trammell: Serving as primary center fielder
Trammell will start in center field and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Guardians.
Trammell will draw his fifth consecutive start and should have a clear path to an everyday role in center field for the time being after Joey Loperfido (quadriceps) recently joined Jake Meyers (oblique) on the injured list. Since receiving a call-up from Triple-A Sugar Land on April 10, Trammell has slashed .321/.387/.429 with two extra-base hits (one double, one triple), one stolen base, four RBI and four runs in nine games.
