Henderson (forearm) is listed as the Brewers' probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Mets in Milwaukee, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee reports.

Henderson relayed after Friday's win over the Marlins that he contended with forearm cramps in the Brewers' first game of the second half, but the issue apparently isn't considered serious enough to prevent him from making his next turn through the rotation on four days' rest. The right-hander limited Miami to just one run on three hits and no walks over five innings Friday, whittling his ERA and WHIP down to 2.97 and 0.93, respectively, over seven starts with the big club this season.

Yastrzemski (elbow) could return from the 10-day injured list when eligible Tuesday, Grant McAuley of the Marietta Daily Journal reports.

Yastrzemski has made encouraging progress in his recovery since landing on the IL on July 11 due to left elbow inflammation. Once activated, Yastrzemski should settle back into a strong-side platoon role in the corner outfield.

Montgomery (elbow) will start Saturday for Triple-A Round Rock as he continues his rehab assignment, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Montgomery will make his sixth overall rehab start, his fourth with Round Rock. Through his first five starts, the 33-year-old has posted a remarkable 2.25 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 11:0 K:BB through 12 innings. This upcoming start will possibly be the southpaw's final rehab appearance after he underwent UCL reconstruction surgery in March of 2025.

Gasser is slated to start Sunday's game against the Marlins in Milwaukee.

After turning in a 2.52 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over a four-start stretch with the big club, Gasser was recalled from Triple-A Nashville last weekend ahead of the Brewers' final game before the All-Star break. The 27-year-old lefty was unable to keep the momentum going, as he was lit up by the Pirates for seven earned runs on eight hits and no walks across three innings. Despite the rough performance to finish out the second half, Gasser will maintain his spot in the rotation coming out of the All-Star break while Milwaukee awaits the return of Kyle Harrison (elbow) from the injured list.

Rangel is slated to start Sunday's game against the Mets in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia demoted Rangel to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on July 2, but he was called back up last week when the Phillies required a fifth starter for the final time before the All-Star break. Rangel will remain in the rotation to open the second half, but he may not be in line for a permanent spot if the Phillies acquire a starter prior to the Aug. 3 trade deadline or elect to recall Andrew Painter from Triple-A and give him another shot in the big leagues. The 28-year-old Rangel has been a so-so performer through his first five appearances (two starts) with the big club, compiling a 4.19 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 22:9 K:BB in 19.1 innings.

Karros isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Karros will retreat to the bench Saturday after going 0-for-4 with a run scored during a 7-2 loss in Friday's series opener. While Karros rests, Willi Castro will start at the hot corner and bat fifth.

Goodman isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati.

Goodman will get a chance to reset after going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Friday's loss. Brett Sullivan will handle catching duties and bat eighth while Goodman sits.

Walls is out of the lineup for Saturday's matchup against Boston, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

Walls is absent from the lineup Saturday as the Rays match up against left-hander Patrick Sandoval. The 29-year-old went a combined 2-for-6 with a double and a strikeout in Friday's doubleheader. Ben Williamson will take over at shortstop and bat sixth Saturday.

Woodruff announced Saturday that he will undergo season-ending capsule repair surgery on his right shoulder, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Woodruff previously underwent the same procedure in October 2023 and ended up missing the entire 2024 campaign. He said he intends to pitch again once he's healthy, but after needing approximately 20 months to make a full recovery from the surgery the first time around, he's unlikely to be ready to return to action until 2028. The 33-year-old will close the book on the 2026 season with a 2.98 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 47:10 K:BB through 45.1 innings across nine starts.

Aranda is out of the lineup for Saturday's matchup against the Red Sox, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

The left-handed-hitting Aranda will hit the bench for Saturday's matchup against southpaw Patrick Sandoval. Aranda went a combined 0-for-7 with one walk and three strikeouts during Friday's doubleheader. Ryan Vilade will man first base and bat cleanup for Tampa Bay on Saturday.
