  • Lions' David Montgomery: Surpasses 100 total yards Thursday

Montgomery (shoulder) rushed 21 times for 88 yards while catching all three of his targets for 36 yards in Thursday's 23-20 win over the Bears.

Montgomery showed no ill effects from the shoulder injury that prompted him to exit in the third quarter of Detroit's 24-6 Week 12 win over the Colts. His 21 carries easily surpassed his season average of 13.2 rushing attempts heading into this game, and he topped Jahmyr Gibbs by one rushing yard for the team lead. After being held without a rushing touchdown Thursday for only the third time this season, Montgomery will look to get back into the end zone Week 14 against the Packers on Thursday Night Football.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Returns to limited practice

Hall (knee) was deemed a limited practice participant Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Hall was a non-participant Wednesday, so his return to practice a day later, albeit in a limited fashion, is a positive sign regarding his status for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Friday's injury report will reveal whether the running back works fully to close the week, as well as his Week 13 game status.

  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Logs full practice Thursday

Spears (concussion) practiced fully Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Spears was a limited participant in Wednesday's session, so his upgrade in activity a day later bodes well for his chances of being available Sunday against the Commanders. Friday's injury report will clarify whether Spears is able to fully progress through the NFL's concussion protocol and head into the weekend without a Week 13 designation.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Commanders' Austin Ekeler: Still DNP on Thursday

Ekeler (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's injury report.

Ekeler's lack of activity just four days removed from suffering a concussion on a kickoff return this past Sunday against the Cowboys doesn't come as a surprise and leaves him on the outside looking in toward clearing league protocol ahead of Week 13 action. Ultimately, the Commanders may make a ruling Friday on his availability for Sunday's game versus the Titans. An absence for Ekeler likely would mean an elevated role for Brian Robinson if the latter is able to put an ankle injury behind him.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Stays limited Thursday

Robinson (ankle) was listed as limited on Thursday's injury report.

It's unclear if the Commanders practiced Thursday, but Robinson would have maintained his activity from one day prior if they did. He's in a better position to be available Sunday against the Titans than fellow RB Austin Ekeler, who has yet to log any on-field work since coming out of this past Sunday's loss to the Cowboys with a concussion. Friday's practice report will unveil whether or not Robinson heads into the weekend with a designation.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Concussion confirmed

Johnson won't return to Thursday's game in Detroit due to a concussion.

Late in the first half, Johnson was checked for a head injury, which now has been confirmed. He'll finish Week 13 action without a touch after recording a touchdown in back-to-back outings prior to Thursday's contest.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Getting concussion check

Johnson is under evaluation for a head injury during Thursday's game at Detroit.

To add insult to injury in a first half in which the Bears went three and out on each of their first three possessions, their No. 2 RB may soon enter the concussion protocol. Johnson didn't have a touch prior to exiting in the second quarter.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Spotted at practice Thursday

Hall (knee) was present for practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Per Cimini, Hall, who didn't practice Wednesday, participated in the open portion of Thursday's session, while working in agility and positional drills. The Jets' upcoming injury report will reveal the running back's official participation level, but his return to the field Thursday is an encouraging sign ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

  • Isiah Pacheco RB | DET

Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Activated from IR

The Chiefs have activated Pacheco (ankle) from IR ahead of Friday's game against the Raiders.

Pacheco doesn't carry a designation on the Chiefs' Week 13 injury report, which sets the stage for him to see his first game action since suffering a fractured fibula during Week 2 action. In his looming return to the lineup, it remains to be seen how heavy of a workload Pacheco will be handed after his extended absence, but it's plausible that he could be eased back into the mix to a degree, with Kareem Hunt, who has been filling in as the team's starting RB, also on hand.

  • Raiders' Alexander Mattison: Questionable for Week 13

Mattison (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Chiefs.

While Mattison, who the Raiders deemed limited on their Tuesday through Thursday practice reports, has a chance to face Kansas City, Zamir White (quadriceps) was ruled out by the team. Confirmation of Mattison's Week 13 status will arrive once Las Vegas' inactives are posted ahead of Friday's 3:00 p.m. ET kickoff, but if he's limited or out, Ameer Abdullah would be in line to continue to see added backfield snaps, with Sincere McCormick and Dylan Laube also available to mix in.
