Lockett (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday versus the Browns.

Lockett was able to play through a hamstring injury Week 7 when DK Metcalf was inactive due to rib and hip issues. After opening Week 8 prep with back-to-back missed practices because of the lingering health concern, Lockett capped it with a full session, and while the wide receiver was listed as questionable for Sunday's contest, coach Pete Carroll told Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times on Friday that Lockett was in line to play this weekend. Indeed, that has come to pass, but Lockett may have a tough time producing against a Cleveland defense that has allowed an NFL-low 47.9 percent catch rate and just three touchdowns to wide receivers in six games this season.

Brooks (coach's decision) is inactive ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

The 2023 seventh-round pick out of South Carolina most recently played in Dallas' Week 5 game against the Chargers, but he failed to record a stat. Brooks has appeared in two games for the Cowboys this season, playing primarily on special teams (45 percent of snaps).

Heath (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Vikings.

Heath will take a seat for a fourth straight game as the Packers look to get back into the win column in Week 8. The wide receiver will continue to wait for his next chance to be active on gameday.

Kirkwood (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Kirkwood played in the first seven games of the season as a depth wide receiver and has one catch on four targets for four yards. For Sunday's contest against the Colts, the Saints have opted to sit Kirkwood in favor of fellow receiver A.T. Perry, who will be making his first appearance of the year.

Nailor (hamstring) won't play Sunday versus the Packers, Andrew Krammer of the Star Tribune reports.

Nailor will miss back-to-back games after being designated to return from injured reserve during Week 7 prep. If he doesn't return to action Week 9 versus Atlanta, Nailor will revert back to IR for the remainder of the campaign.

Dowell (coach's decision) will be inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Dowell will head to the bench with Treylon Burks (knee) making his return in Week 8. The wide receiver will now wait for his next chance to appear in a game with Tennessee.

Skowronek (Achilles) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Cowboys.

Skowronek will continue his trend of playing through the Achilles injury he's been dealing with for more than a month. The wide receiver has gone without a catch for four consecutive contests and he carries little to no fantasy value.

Thornton (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

With Thornton a healthy scratch Sunday, the Patriots' Week 8 WR corps will be comprised of Kendrick Bourne, DeVante Parker, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Demario Douglas and Jalen Reagor. In two games to date, Thornton has caught two of his three targets for eight yards.

Hutchinson (foot) is active ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers.

The rookie out of Iowa State was limited during Wednesday's practice, but he was able to log consecutive days of full participation both Thursday and Friday. Hutchinson has a chance to see an uptick in snaps on the Texans' offense with Robert Woods (foot) missing time.

Cobb (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Coming out of the Jets' Week 7 bye, Cobb didn't practice Wednesday, but then logged limited sessions Thursday and Friday before heading into the weekend listed as questionable. Now that it has been confirmed that the veteran slot man will be unavailable Sunday, Xavier Gipson is a candidate to see added Week 8 WR opportunities behind Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard, with Jason Brownlee and Malik Taylor also mixing in.
