Allen Lazard WR | NYJ
Packers' Allen Lazard: Doubtful for Sunday
Coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that he considers Lazard (ankle) doubtful for Sunday's game at Minnesota, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
On Wednesday, LaFleur revealed that Lazard's absence from practice stemmed from getting stepped on last week. Lazard proceeded to miss all three official sessions this week and now has scant chance to play Week 1. If the Packers include him among their inactives Sunday, the team will rely on Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs at wide receiver.

Allen Lazard WR | NYJ
Packers' Allen Lazard: Absent Friday
Lazard (ankle) isn't practicing Friday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Lazard got his ankle stepped on during a practice last week and hasn't participated at all this week. He isn't looking good for Sunday's game against Minnesota, likely leaving QB Aaron Rodgers with a WR group of Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Amari Rodgers and Samori Toure. While Watkins and Cobb are the safest bets to get snaps in the opener, Doubs and Watson are the upside plays for fantasy managers seeking a receiver to stash on the bench.

Drake London WR | ATL
Falcons' Drake London: Status coming down to Saturday
Coach Arthur Smith said London (knee) will work out Saturday before the team makes a decision on his availability for Sunday's game against New Orleans, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The rookie was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, apparently showing enough progress to at least be a game-time decision. London presumably will be listed as questionable when the Falcons release their final injury report Friday afternoon.
-
Cam Sims WR | CAR
Commanders' Cam Sims: Not listed on injury report
Sims (concussion) isn't listed on Friday's injury report, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Sims entered concussion protocols Aug. 24 and was limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday but has since been cleared for full participation. The fifth-year wideout has caught 47 of 72 targets for 688 yards and three scores over the last two seasons and is projected to be Washington's fourth wideout behind Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson and Curtis Samuel.

Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Expects to play Sunday
Johnson (shoulder) noted that he was able to practice fully Friday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
The wideout also indicated that he'll be good to go Sunday against the Bengals while acknowledging that he may have to manage some pain in the process. Friday's final injury report will clarify whether Johnson heads into the weekend officially listed as questionable or minus a Week 1 injury designation.

Brandon Powell WR | MIN
Rams' Brandon Powell: Does a little of everything
Powell caught his only target for 10 yards in the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night. He also rushed once for three yards and returned four kicks for 67 yards.
Powell saw only three snaps on offense, but he made the most of his limited time on the field by getting two touches in those three snaps, which was more production than Allen Robinson saw in 65 snaps. Powell also operated in his usual role as the Rams' primary kick returner, topping out with a 21-yard return in the fourth quarter. With Van Jefferson (knee) potentially out for Week 2's game against the Falcons, Powell will look to continue attempting to carve out a role beyond his return duties.
-
Tutu Atwell WR | LAR
Rams' Tutu Atwell: One target in defeat
Atwell didn't catch his only target in the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.
Atwell and Ben Skowronek were expected to be a committee in replacing the production of injured No. 3 wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee), but Atwell took just seven snaps and dropped his only target from Matthew Stafford. Skowronek worked as the No. 3 receiver, with Atwell and Brandon Powell both receiving minimal playing time, and Skowronek was on the field for nearly the entire game on offense and turned six targets into four catches for 25 yards, seemingly relegating Atwell to a clear tier behind Skowronek on the depth chart for now. Atwell will look to see more action in a Week 2 showdown against the Falcons.
-
Michael Woods II WR | DEN
Browns' Michael Woods: Questionable for Week 1
Woods (illness) is questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Panthers, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
Woods was limited at the beginning of the week due to a hamstring injury but is now listed with an illness. Regardless, even if he clears both issues, he isn't expected to garner a major offensive role in Week 1.
-
Chris Godwin WR | TB
Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Treated as game-time decision
Coach Todd Bowles said Friday that Godwin (knee) could be a game-time decision, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Godwin was a full practice participant Wednesday and a non-participant Thursday, before finishing out the week in a non-contact jersey at Friday's session, according to Laine. It's unclear if this is gamesmanship or if he'll truly be treated as a game-time decision, but it does seem Godwin is unlikely to be ready for his accustomed every-down role even if he ends up playing Sunday night against the Cowboys. The late kickoff (8:20 p.m. ET) does fantasy managers no favors.
-
Ben Skowronek WR | PIT
Rams' Ben Skowronek: Four catches in opener
Skowronek brought in four of six targets for 25 yards in the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.
Skowronek and fellow wide receiver Tutu Atwell were expected to be in a committee of sorts to replace the production of Van Jefferson (knee), but Atwell saw just seven offensive snaps and a single target. Skowronek was on the field for 59 of the Rams' 67 snaps on offense, and while his final stat line wasn't eye-popping, he was given more opportunities than Allen Robinson (one catch for 12 yards on two targets) and seems to be the team's clear No. 3 wide receiver if Jefferson isn't able to return for a Week 2 showdown with the Falcons.
