The Eagles waived Toure on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.

Toure fought to make the Eagles' 53-man roster, but with names such as DeVonta Smith, rookie first-rounder Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore dominating the depth chart, the 28-year-old Toure only ever had a slim chance. He will now be subject to waivers through Monday due to Sunday's cutdown day. If the wide receiver goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Buccaneers waived Potter on Saturday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Potter signed with the Buccaneers in June to contend with starting kicker Chase McLaughlin. The 26-year-old Potter went 4-for-4 on kicks throughout the 2026 preseason, but there was never truly a chance for the kicker to usurp McLaughlin. Potter will be subject to waivers through Monday, and if he clears he will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.

Kacmarek (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week as of Saturday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Kacmarek did not play in Friday night's preseason finale against the Falcons. The rookie third-rounder played in the first two preseason games for the Dolphins, catching his sole target for three yards. The tight end is set to be the No. 2 option behind Greg Dulcich once the former regains his health.

Mahomes (knee) is on track to start Week 1 against the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Mahomes said a week ago he was "extremely confident" he would be ready for Kansas City's season opener, and the latest report keeps him on track to do so. It's unclear how close he is to 100 percent, but it's growing more and more likely that the torn left ACL he sustained last December will not cost him any action during the 2026 campaign.

The Panthers waived Prieskorn on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Prieskorn signed with the Panthers in late July before the commencement of training camp. The second-year tight end out of Ole Miss has yet to play in an NFL regular-season game. Prieskorn will now be subject to waivers through Monday. If the 26-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Raiders waived Gurd on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Gurd signed with the Raiders in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati. The tight end was being converted to fullback for the Raiders' 2026 season but ultimately will be unable to make the final cut. If Gurd remains unclaimed through Sunday's cutdown day waiver process, he will become a free agent Monday. There is a good chance the 24-year-old ends up on the Raiders' practice squad if he clears waivers.

Tipton (leg) is expected to begin the 2026 regular season on the reserve/PUP list, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Tipton began training camp on the active/PUP list, so the wide receiver is eligible to be placed on the reserve/PUP list to start the season. Once the third-year player recovers from his tibia surgery and spends the required minimum four weeks on the PUP list, he will be eligible to return to the Saints for the remainder of the regular season.

The Dolphins waived Wease on Saturday.

Wease played a large role at wide receiver for the Dolphins' last three regular-season games in 2025. The wide receiver had an edge over all the new competition due to his experience, but it appears he will be unable to make the final cut. If Wease remains unclaimed through Monday's waiver process, there is a strong chance he will end up back with the Dolphins on the team's practice squad.

The Dolphins waived Edwards on Saturday.

Edwards did not play in Friday's preseason finale against the Falcons. The running back logged one rush attempt in the Dolphins' preseason opener against the Commanders for a loss of one yard. The second-year player out of Michigan will now be subject to waivers through Sunday's cutdown day and into Monday. If Edwards goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any organization's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Dolphins waived Bennett on Saturday.

Bennett signed with the Dolphins on Wednesday after being waived by the Bears in mid-August. The running back was a substitute for Ollie Gordon (ribs) in Friday's preseason finale against the Falcons. Bennett, an undrafted free agent out of Kennesaw State, rushed five times for eight yards in the contest. He will now be subject to waivers through Monday due to Sunday's cutdown day. If the 23-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.
