  • Giants' Chauncey Golston: Facing extended absence

Golston (neck) might be facing a lengthy absence, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Golston suffered a neck injury in the Week 4 win over Arizona. Although not much has been revealed since, head coach John Harbaugh stated his absence "could be" long term. The 28-year-old has 13 total tackles (10 solo) in four games during the 2026 campaign. While Golston is sidelined, Darius Alexander and CJ Okoye will need to be more involved.

  • Byron Young LB | LAR

Rams' Byron Young: Wreaks havoc against Philly

Young recorded six tackles (four solo) including 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble during Sunday's 24-20 win against the Eagles.

The Rams were not able to come up with the football after Young burned rookie right tackle Markel Bell around the edge and swiped the ball out of quarterback Jalen Hurts' right hand, but Young's performance in Week 4 was plenty productive nonetheless, and his sack total was a career high. Moving forward, he might be worth a look in IDP formats that award extra points for sacks.

  • Greg Rousseau LB | BUF

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Breaks sack streak in loss

Rousseau logged four tackles (two solo) and two passes defensed in the Bills' 29-26 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Rousseau notched 2.0 sacks in each of the first three games of the 2026 regular season. The outside linebacker's historic streak concluded in Week 4, when he was unable to log any sacks over 81 percent of the Bills' defensive snaps. The Bills' lack of defensive pressure against quarterback Drake Maye was a key component in the outcome of the early-season divisional matchup.

  • C.J. Henderson CB | ATL

Falcons' C.J. Henderson: Comes up with takeaway Monday

Henderson recorded 10 tackles (nine solo), a pass defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery during Monday's 45-24 win at New Orleans.

On a first down in Saints territory late in the first quarter, Henderson was able to rip the football right out of the hands of running back Kendre Miller in heavy traffic, setting up a touchdown to put the Falcons ahead 14-0. He may be one of the few cornerbacks meriting IDP consideration in many formats going into a Week 5 tilt versus the Ravens.

  • Saints' Julian Blackmon: Tallies 10 tackles in loss

Blackmon logged 10 tackles (five solo) in the Saints' 45-24 loss to the Falcons on Monday.

Blackmon played all 57 of the Saints' defensive snaps in the blowout loss. Despite a long night for the defensive unit, the free safety tallied four more tackles than the next closest Saints defenders (Tyree Wilson and Jonas Sanker).

  • Falcons' Harold Perkins: Notches 10 tackles in win

Perkins recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) including 0.5 sacks and a pass defensed during Monday's 45-24 win at New Orleans.

Over the last couple games, Perkins appears to have overtaken fellow rookie Kendal Daniels as the Falcons' second linebacker next to Divine Deablo. Perkins played 52 defensive snaps to Daniels' 29 in Week 4, and if that trend continues, he might be worth a look in deeper IDP formats in a Week 5 matchup versus the Ravens and beyond.

  • Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Limited to begin practice week

Taylor-Demerson (back) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Taylor-Demerson most recently didn't suit up for the Week 4 loss to the Giants. However, his limited participation in Wednesday's practice is an encouraging sign regarding his availability for Sunday's game against the Giants.

  • Jaylan Ford LB | NO

Saints' Jaylan Ford: Returns to practice

The Saints designated Ford (ankle) for return to practice from injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The Saints placed Ford on injured reserve Aug. 31 with a designation to return. The linebacker was a full participant in his return to practice Wednesday, signaling he could be ready to return to the active roster shortly. If the Saints fail to retain Ford to the 53-man roster by Oct. 28, he will need to remain on IR for the remainder of the 2026 season.

  • Curtis Jacobs LB | WAS

Curtis Jacobs: Works out with Packers

Green Bay worked out Jacobs (undisclosed) on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Commanders waived Jacobs with an injury settlement ahead of their regular-season opener, but he now appears to be back in football shape after Week 4. The Packers lost starting linebacker Edgerrin Cooper for the season to a torn Achilles on Sunday, so they're now seeing if they might be able to add some depth at the position in free agency.

  • Andrew Wingard SAF | ARI

Cardinals' Andrew Wingard: Misses practice Wednesday

Wingard (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Wingard was injured in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Although he avoided anything serious, he still might miss some time moving forward. While Wingard is on the shelf, Wydett Williams should fill most of the void at the safety position.
