The Bills waived Owens on Friday.

The move corresponds with the Bills signing cornerback D.J. Miller. Owens has yet to appear in a regular-season game since signing with the Bills as an undrafted free agent in May of 2025. He'll look to catch on with a team in need of depth at safety.

Mahogany (undisclosed) was removed from the Lions' active/non-football injury list Friday after passing his physical, Justin Rogers of DetroitFootball.net reports.

Mahogany has been cleared to practice after recovering from an undisclosed injury. He's slated to serve as the Lions' starter at left guard for the 2026 season, with his main competition coming from Juice Scruggs and Miles Frazier.

Bosa (ACL) is doing individual work on the side at the 49ers' training camp, Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports.

Bosa apparently still isn't ready for team drills, but he continues to trend in a positive direction as training camp rolls on, drawing praise from teammate Trent Williams, per Wagoner. When healthy, he figures to be the key to a San Francisco plan to fix a pass rush that was among the worst in the league in 2025.

Hardy (illness) was removed from the Saints' active/non-football injury list Friday after passing his physical, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Hardy is now clear to participate in training camp practices and preseason games as he he looks to make a case for a spot on the Saints' 53-man roster for the 2026 season. He signed with New Orleans as an undrafted free agent in late April following his final college season at North Carolina, when he mostly contributed as a run blocker and finished with six catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns across five games.

Walthall (undisclosed) reverted to the Jets' injured reserve Friday after clearing waivers, per the NFL's transaction report.

Now that he's on injured reserve, Walthall will be forced to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Jets. Walthall joined the Jets on June 8 after being let go by the Texans four days prior. He spent the last two years of his college career with Incarnate Word but did not hear his name called during the 2026 NFL Draft.

Green Bay waived Rice (undisclosed) from its NFI list with a non-football injury designation Friday.

Rice was claimed off waivers by the Packers back in May, but he's now on track for free agency unless he's scooped up by a different club during the current waiver period. His last regular-season action came with the Chargers back in 2024, when he logged three offensive snaps over three games.

Anudike-Uzomah is participating at the Chiefs' training camp, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.

Per Goldman, Anudike-Uzomah is standing out at camp so far and drawing praise from his head coach and defensive coordinator. He'll be competing with 2025 third-rounder Ashton Gillotte (hamstring) and rookie second-rounder R Mason Thomas for a starting role on the edge opposite George Karlaftis in 2026.

The Ravens removed Kone (knee) from the active/PUP list Friday after he passed his physical, Clifton Brown and Quentin Corpuel of the Ravens' official site reports.

A sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Kone was sidelined for his entire rookie year while recovering from a torn MCL and ACL that he sustained during the preseason. He's been cleared to participate in training camp practices, and the Western Michigan product's clearest path to a spot on the 53-man roster figures to be as a contributor on special teams rather than as a rotational piece in the Ravens' secondary.

Isaac (elbow) was removed from the active/PUP list Friday after passing a physical, Clifton Brown and Quentin Corpuel of the Ravens' official site report.

Isaac was sidelined for the entire 2025 season due to a dislocated elbow that he sustained during the preseason. The Penn State product has been cleared to participate in practice and will use training camp to make his case for a rotational role at edge rusher behind starters Trey Hendrickson and Tavius Robinson. Isaac appeared in just four regular-season games during his rookie year in 2024, finishing with four tackles (two solo) and one pass defense while contributing both on defense and special teams.

The 49ers activated Collins (shoulder) from the active/PUP list Friday after he passed a physical, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Collins was working through a shoulder injury during the offseason, but he's now healthy enough to participate in practices. The 2025 second-rounder played in 16 regular-season games in his rookie year, finishing with 17 tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, two pass defenses, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
