David Kampf C | WAS
Maple Leafs' David Kampf: Tickles twine in 500th NHL game
Kampf scored his first goal of the campaign in Friday's 5-2 win over Detroit.
Kampf opened the scoring in the first period of his 500th career NHL game. The 29-year-old added two PIM, two shots and a plus-1 rating in 12:31 of ice time. Kampf's role as a fourth-line center and penalty killer has naturally limited his offensive contributions in 2024-25. The Czech Republic native has chipped in one goal, four helpers, two PIM, 10 blocked shots, 21 hits and 21 shots on goal through 23 appearances.

Justin Hryckowian C | DAL
Stars' Justin Hryckowian: Brought up from minors
Hrychowian was recalled from AHL Texas on Saturday.
The move was made as Mason Marchment suffered an upper-body injury Friday and was taken to hospital. Hrychowian has yet to make his NHL debut, as he has been a healthy scratch in all three games when recalled from the minors. Hrychowian had 12 goals and 26 points across 27 AHL appearances before his recall.

Auston Matthews C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Skates Saturday
Matthews (upper body) skated for 30 minutes Saturday but will not play versus Washington, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Matthews returned to the ice for the first time since aggravating a previous injury against Buffalo on Dec. 20. It remains unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. Matthews has 11 goals and 12 assists in 24 games this season.

Sean Monahan C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Sean Monahan: Scores twice Friday
Monahan scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Friday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.
Monahan got things going for the Blue Jackets in the first period with a power-play marker, and he doubled his tally midway through the second frame to give Columbus a 3-1 lead. Monahan has recorded three multi-point efforts across his last four games, tallying four goals and four assists in that impressive stretch. On the season, the 30-year-old is up to 13 goals and 20 assists across 36 contests in his first year with the franchise.

Pavel Zacha C | BOS
Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Snaps drought with goal
Zacha scored a goal in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Zacha failed to record a point over his previous four games, but he snapped that drought here by finding the twine in the first period to record his ninth goal of the campaign. The 27-year-old endured a slow start to the season but has been picking up in recent weeks, as he's scored four of his 10 goals during the current month.

Dylan Cozens C | OTT
Sabres' Dylan Cozens: Scores, assists Friday
Cozens recorded a goal and an assist in Friday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Cozens registered both of his fantasy contributions in the first period, finding the twine in the final seconds of the frame after setting up Jack Quinn's goal. He's been on a roll of late, posting back-to-back multi-point efforts for the first time this season and also cracking the scoresheet in four of his last five appearances. Cozens has racked up nine points (three goals, six assists) in 12 December outings.

Jack Roslovic C | EDM
Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Hands out helper
Roslovic notched an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Devils.
Roslovic was back on the top line at even strength Friday for the third straight game. He's earned a goal, two assists and seven shots on net in that span. It's a spot that has served Roslovic well when he's had the chance to play higher in the lineup. The 27-year-old winger is up to 14 goals, seven helpers, 71 shots on net and a minus-3 rating through 35 contests. He's still a little goal-heavy this season, but Roslovic makes for a strong streaming option at a minimum when he's sharing ice time with Sebastian Aho.

Barclay Goodrow C | SJ
Sharks' Barclay Goodrow: Nabs assist in loss
Goodrow posted an assist, three hits, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights.
Goodrow has two helpers over eight outings since he returned from missing five games due to an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old forward has just four points over 33 appearances this season -- as expected, his return to the Sharks after spending parts of five campaigns with Tampa Bay and the Rangers has not yielded significant offense for the veteran forward. He's added 37 shots on net, 32 PIM, 58 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-19 rating. While he was on the top line officially in Friday's game, he still saw just 13:48 of ice time, in line with his usual bottom-six usage.

Mikael Granlund C | ANA
Sharks' Mikael Granlund: Adds assist Friday
Granlund posted an assist, four shots on goal, three blocked shots, two hits and a minus-4 rating in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights.
Granlund has a helper in each of the last two contests. He's at six points through 11 outings in December, but he hasn't logged a multi-point effort this month. The 32-year-old center is up to 11 goals, 23 helpers, 101 shots on net, 29 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 36 games overall. Granlund's spot in the top six is safe, and he's a decent fantasy option as long as he can hover around a point-per-game pace.
