John Klingberg D | SJ
Sharks' John Klingberg: Earns two points in win
Klingberg scored a power-play goal, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Kraken.
Klingberg stretched the Sharks' lead to 3-1 in the second period. He earned his first multi-point effort of the season, and he has three points over five contests since returning from a lower-body injury. Overall, the defenseman has two goals, five points (three on the power play), 12 shots on net, 10 hits, nine blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over eight appearances this campaign. He should continue to see top-four minutes and power-play usage.

Yan Kuznetsov D | CGY
Flames' Yan Kuznetsov: Registers helper in season debut
Kuznetsov logged an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Kuznetsov's helper was his first point in his second NHL contest. It was his first outing with the big club in 2025-26 after he put up two goals in 10 games with AHL Calgary prior to his Tuesday call-up. Kuznetsov is with the big club to apply some pressure for third-pairing minutes, mainly in competition with fellow left-shot blueliner Jake Bean, but also to keep Zayne Parekh and Brayden Pachal honest as well. Should Kuznetsov play well over an extended stretch, he could help bolster a weak spot in the Flames' lineup.

Simon Benoit D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Not playing Wednesday
Benoit (illness) won't play Wednesday versus the Mammoth.
Benoit is under the weather and will be forced to miss at least one game. The 27-year-old defenseman will be replaced by Dakota Mermis in Wednesday's lineup. It's not yet clear if Benoit will be available for Saturday's home game against the Bruins.

Domenick Fensore D | CAR
Hurricanes' Domenick Fensore: Demoted Wednesday
Fensore was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Wednesday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Fensore was up with the big club for a couple of days but did not appear in a game. His demotion suggests K'Andre Miller (lower body) could be available for Thursday's contest against the Wild.

Seamus Casey D | NJ
Devils' Seamus Casey: Sent back to AHL
Casey was assigned to AHL Utica on Wednesday.
Casey spent the past week and a half with the Devils and appeared in two games, recording no points on four shots, a blocked shot and a minus-3 rating while averaging 18:01 of ice time. He should see a more consistent role with Utica, while Colton White was called up in a corresponding move Wednesday.

Brock Faber D | MIN
Wild's Brock Faber: Picks up pair of helpers
Faber logged two assists and six blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Predators.
Faber has logged three multi-point efforts over his last five games to get his offense on track. That's also corresponded with an uptick in power-play usage, which is where he's earned four of his six assists in that span. The 23-year-old has a goal, seven points, 35 shots on net, 28 blocks and a minus-7 rating across 14 appearances this season.

Zeev Buium D | VAN
Wild's Zeev Buium: Scores on power play Tuesday
Buium scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Predators.
Buium snapped a three-game point drought with the tally. The 19-year-old defenseman has three goals and six assists through 14 appearances, with six of his nine points coming on the power play. He's added 19 shots on net, four blocked shots, three hits, two PIM and a minus-11 rating. Relying on power-play production alone makes Buium a bit volatile for fantasy, but he has plenty of scoring potential with little upside in other areas.

Miro Heiskanen D | DAL
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Scores late equalizer
Heiskanen scored a goal on four shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Oilers.
Heiskanen found the back of the net for the first time since his two-goal performance in a 3-2 win over the Hurricanes on Oct. 25. The star blueliner hasn't been as productive as he's been in previous seasons from a scoring perspective, and he has only six points across 13 appearances this season. However, he continues to log heavy minutes on the top pairing and the first power-play unit, presenting him with plenty of chances to rack up more points.

Stevie Leskovar D | MIN
Wild's Stevie Leskovar: Off injured reserve
Leskovar (wrist) was activated off non-roster, injured reserve and reassigned to ECHL Iowa on Wednesday.
Leskovar had a goal, six points and 76 PIM in 35 regular-season appearances with OHL Brampton in 2024-25. He'll probably spend the remainder of the campaign in the minors.

K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Hopeful for Thursday return
Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said Wednesday that he hopes Miller (lower body) will be able to return for Thursday's game against Minnesota, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Miller has missed the last six games due to a lower-body injury, but he appears to be on the cusp of returning to action. While he'll be in the mix to return for Thursday's matchup, Brind'Amour indicated that the team will wait to see how Miller feels in the morning before determining his status. Miller was a strong contributor prior to his absence, logging two goals, two assists, eight blocked shots, six hits and eight PIM while averaging 23:32 of ice time over his first six appearances of the season.
