Miro Heiskanen D | DAL
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Joining team on road
Heiskanen (knee) will travel with the Stars to Colorado ahead of Game 6 against the Avalanche on Thursday, Sam Nestler of DLLS Stars reports Wednesday.
Heiskanen accompanied the Stars for their road trip to Colorado for Games 3 and 4, but he didn't dress for either of those games, so his traveling doesn't necessarily mean he'll play Thursday. Still, Heiskanen is continuing to make progress, and his situation is worth monitoring. The 25-year-old had five goals and 25 points across 50 outings during the regular season.

Brett Pesce D | NJ
Devils' Brett Pesce: Two helpers in Game 5 loss
Pesce notched two assists, two shots on goal and four blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-4 double-overtime loss to the Hurricanes in Game 5.
Pesce was questionable heading into the game but ultimately suited up for 32:17 of ice time. The defenseman put up three assists, eight shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over five playoff contests. Pesce just finished the first season of a six-year contract, so he's set to be part of the Devils' defensive core for the remainder of the decade.

Dmitry Orlov D | SJ
Hurricanes' Dmitry Orlov: Puts up assist in win
Orlov notched an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Tuesday's 5-4 double-overtime win over the Devils in Game 5.
Orlov finished the first round with two helpers, a plus-1 rating, four PIM, six shots on net, 18 hits and eight blocked shots over five games. The 33-year-old has handled top-four minutes this postseason while working as a shutdown defenseman. He'll be a decent target for non-scoring production in fantasy throughout the playoffs.

Alexandre Carrier D | MON
Canadiens' Alexandre Carrier: Considered game-time decision
Carrier (undisclosed) is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday's Game 5 against Washington, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Carrier sustained an injury during Sunday's Game 4 loss, and he missed Tuesday's practice session. The team will presumably wait to see how he feels during Wednesday's warmups before determining his status. Over the first four games of the series, he's recorded a goal, an assist, 11 blocked shots and seven hits while averaging 20:07 of ice time.

Maxwell Crozier D | TB
Lightning's Max Crozier: Elevated from minors
Crozier was called up from AHL Syracuse on Wednesday.
While Crozier's promotion may have initially raised some fears regarding the availability of Tampa's blueliners, according to Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com, the 25-year-old defenseman is not expected to play in Game 5 on Wednesday. Still, it will be a situation fantasy managers want to monitor when the team takes the ice for warmups. For his part, Crozier made five regular-season appearances this year, generating zero points, 11 hits and eight shots while averaging 16:41 of ice time.

Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Two PP assists in Game 5 win
Gostisbehere notched two power-play assists Tuesday in the Hurricanes' 5-4 double-overtime win over the Devils in Game 5 of their first-round series.
He helped set up a pair of Sebastian Aho tallies, one that tied the game at 4-4 in the second period and the other the game-winner early in the second OT. Gostisbehere wraps up the first round with a goal and four points through five games, including three power-play assists.
-
John Klingberg D | SJ
Oilers' John Klingberg: Manages assist in Game 5
Klingberg posted an assist, five shots on goal and three hits in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Kings in Game 5.
Klingberg has racked up two assists, nine shots on net, five hits, six blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over four playoff appearances. The 32-year-old is seeing top-four minutes but just traces of power-play time for the Oilers. Klingberg has a good track record on offense, but he can be a defensive liability, so it wouldn't be surprising if Edmonton limited his usage later in the postseason.
-
Jacob Middleton D | MIN
Wild's Jake Middleton: Registers assist Tuesday
Middleton posted an assist, two shots on goal, four hits and five blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 5.
Middleton got on the scoresheet for the first time this postseason when he helped out on Matt Boldy's third-period tally. The 29-year-old Middleton is playing big minutes in a top-four role, but he's there for his shutdown skills rather than his offense. The blueliner has added six shots on net, 10 hits, 19 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over five playoff games.

Nicolas Hague D | NSH
Golden Knights' Nicolas Hague: Pockets assist
Hague notched an assist and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Wild in Game 5.
Hague helped out on an overtime tally by Brett Howden. The helper was Hague's first point over five postseason games, and the defenseman has added seven shots on net, 11 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. He had 12 points, 74 shots on net, 82 hits and 74 blocks over 68 regular-season appearances.

Thomas Chabot D | OTT
Senators' Thomas Chabot: Gets game-winner
Chabot scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-0 win over Toronto in Game 5.
Chabot's shot from the blue line went through a screen, deflected off Auston Matthews in the slot and whizzed in past Anthony Stolarz's blocker. It put the Sens up 1-0 early in the second frame and ultimately stood as the winner. Chabot has one goal, one assist and seven shots in five games this postseason.
